Here's the sea-side shrine of Manannan in Harpstring I made for my Wilderlands game. The characters were rubbing up to the faithful druids of Manannan in hopes that a little favor from the Sea King might ensure a safe escape from the island. Members of the Blood Devils, a gang of cut throat orc and Altanian silver miners, had a grudge against one of the characters and they tried to make good on killing him before he escaped. One assassination attempt was made late at night, and another at sunrise. The characters beat off the attackers, and fled by way of the fishing boat of the druids.

Looks cool! I like the stacking a lot.

p.s. Exerpt from Dudebird game session:

Dudebird, "I said that the dragon just breathed fire on you, save vs. Breath Weapon!"
Player, "Huh? Oh I was mesmerized by the Naked barbarian poster."

Wow - nice stuff indeed! Very inspiring use of the pieces in your set-ups....lots of stuff I never thought of!

Bravo!

Whats the ground in the temple area made of? It looks sort of like a battlemap, but of the perfect color for worn stone ground......

It's pretty awesome. Cam got that for 5 bucks at our FLGS. I just moved it to the other side of the room. I wanted the hex maps of the Wilderlands up behind me for ease of overland movement tracking.

Greetings,

Greetings.

The female statue is Galadriel from a LOTR chess set. We have another chess set that I'm really excited to use for Avalonian architecture, as they're far more Arthurian than the rest of the Wilderlands. Used chess sets at thrift stores are a gold mine for statues.

The Poseidon one I'm not sure where it came from, but something tells me it was in a gift shop or something.

Yeah, I liked the poster, but was actually disappointed at not seeing the Tube At Which the Players Prayed.....it usually makes a cameo in some of your shots, no?

Thanks.

Those greenish tiles were made by Blair from industrial foam. They are the most useful pieces we have I'd say. I've used them for sea water, forest floor, and here as salty stone pier. Blair used them for jungle floor, and both those other ruins/village set ups I posted.
