I just had to get it when I saw it at Gencon. Much better than what I could make myself but similar in idea to the table I was building back in April.

A little less DF stuff for the next year but purchased with DF stuff in mind! A dungeon can be set up below the table top; not shown in pictures, on the sunken level that also has a plexiglass so maps and what not could be below that and dry erase or wet erase would come up off the plexiglass.

Absolutely cool. I don't think I could get my wife to agree on such a table - and I don't think the company ships to the UK - but I really feel envy now.

Yes - if the company has a webpage - please post there details.

Ah yes... I saw that at GenCon as well... was afraid to ask how much it cost :)

Seemed like a very well-designed table though. The bottom drawers (you can see them pretty well in picture 3 and 7) actually slide into the table to provide a space for each player to lay down their books / papers.

You are correct they might not ship overseas.

The price is for delivery AND install into my home. Which I am happy about since I live in Alaska. Of course from Seattle to Florida is approximately the same as going from Seattle to Anchorage they just have to go through another country to do it though.

Here is a web site. www.geekchichq.com/The_Sultan_.html

Plus I am getting it changed a little. Instead of a Game Master station on each end one end will have to gamer stations. They will be side by side but just not have all the little drawers the side gamer stations have.

That is a beautiful table !!! Congrats on your new piece of furniture, Sean !!! I wonder if I can get my wife to come "furrniture shopping" with me ?? (She sure dragged me along to enough couch stores !!!!!)

I've been designing a game table with all sorts of drawers, niches and shelves but those flip-down shelves on yours are inspired !! I may have to stea ... er ... adopt ... that idea.

Then again, I might just invest in one of those for myself ... we might be playing 19th edition D&D by the time my sketches turn into finished construction !!!

Awesome table, Northman! If I hit the lottery, that's definitely going on my list.

Hmmm - I don't play lottery - and the next very round birthday is in seven years and a bit.

What am I supposed to do apart of drooling?

That is a great looking table...and modifiable as well...I wish I had gotten a chance to go over and see it. It's hard to judge the height from photo's. But it looks darn good, and yes, could be great in a living room!

Question: how do you remove the plexiglass that sits over the sunken part? I guess it just lifts off right? But how do you get your fingers around it or does it push out from the bottom somehow? I also suppose that the bottom level can be lined with black felt?

Maybe the table comes with those glass installer suction cups ??

Ok, ok, more likely simple holes in the frame below it so you can push it up and out ... but, for the expense, I'd like the suction cups ;)

Way COOL! Now I have to charge my players. Lets see 10,000 $ divide by 5 players. :-) I asked my wife if I can get and she said YES! But I have to build a room onto the house to hold it. Well I always wanted my own game room. Lets see it's 10,000 for the table and 50,000 for a game room. Time to ask the boss for a raise.
