You're as bad as Jeff and Stefan with the teaser !!! :)

I can't wait to see more ... this is a fantastic idea and I'm looking forward to seeing it's progress.

Have you kept a running tutorial of the project?

This idea for walls is awesome and would be perfect setting for a crypt or catacombs environment.

Nice work, I really enjoy everyones creativity here.

I have not really been keeping a tutorial of the project. I do have about nine pieces of the set sotting on my table and two gallons of RTV rubber sitting in buckets on the floor. I started building the frames around two of the masters tonight. I was using legos (and dang those are expensive!!) but I am wondering how I am going to need to seal the cracks between the blocks. I don't want it oozing out. After that I have a couple of gallons of resin ready to go. The problem is lack of time.

Yep, the legos are a bit pricey, you can buy them by the piece at lego.com. Luckily I grew up with them, so I just rifled through my old boxes and gathered the bunch that I needed.

I have been using some modelers clay to stick the lego forms down to a sheet of plexy glass plastic. Also i have been using the clay to stick the masters down to the plexiglass also, but I dont think it is a good idea anymore because the clay adds to the overall hight of the piece. In the future I am going to try some thin double sided tape to hold down the masters.

I just use a thin layer of PVA glue to hold the masters down to a smooth sheet of plastic. Then I use modeling clay to fill in any gaps between the master and the sheet of plastic. It takes a bit to dry, but at the pace at which I am moving it is not a big deal. Two masters ready for mold-making. Everything will be dry by tonight when I am ready for them. Then I will get the next round ready.

I think that is an incredible project. I saw it over there myself. Again, I think there is great potential to integrate them into the same project. In fact, as I see it, there would be three stages - first the gothic church on top, next the vaults withe the decaying bodies laying in their coves, then then deeper catacombs where the bones of the decayed bodies are stacked in order to make room for new bodies to be laid out.
