Hey Guys and Gals-
Here is a conversion for the Deluxe Room Set I did a while back. Those are GW's Lord of the Rings miniatures (mainly) being used during a roleplaying game I was running a few months back. I filled in all the bowtie connector holes as recommended here on the forums. I love the Dwarven Forge stuff, but my main problem is that there is not enough stuff it in. I mean, the adventurers go into dungeons, often mainly just for all the cool loot, and a table full of grey stone wall after grey stone wall gets a bit repetitive after a while. But to me, all kinds of idea spring into my mind when I look at those blank stone walls. That is why I took out this set and intentionally tried to put as much stuff in it as I could to make it look lived in and a bit more interesting. I hope you like.

These pictures were taken during a game back in November. It was a real blast. The sad part is, I am moving into a smaller place and am having to downsize my DF and other roleplaying accessories, so I targeted this set for eBay. It is over there now. If one of you guys win it, I hope you give it a good home. I have other cavern stuff (the DF caverns are my favs) that I am NOT selling, but I should post here anyway. I have been meaning to take some more photos since these, but I just have to make myself get the miniatures, the DF sets, and my camera all in one place at the same time. I love looking at all of your pictures, I need to give back.

Thanks. They are based on one inch hexes (point to point) from Litko. I primarily play GURPS with them which uses a hex based system. However, they can fit inside a one inch square for when we are using the DF stuff. Of, and the bases are magnetic too so they can be transported in a metal toolbox with no problem. The outdoor terrain I am planning is also going to be magnetic so that I don't have to worry about them bumping and shifting during the game.

Nice. Very nice. I especially like the way you turned beads " like for a necklace " into little bottles!!!! Fantastic idea and execution.

I noticed those as well... (The Vials/Potion Bottles made of beads that is)...

Gavynn,

I believe I may have to do a little tweaking and see what similar bottles I can come up with. Thanks for the inspiration...

Glad to know that you guys like it. I have certainly been inspired by lots of the things that I have seen here for a long time. None of the stuff I did for that set was very hard, and most of it was not terribly expensive, but it was something that was time intensive to paint up and make.
