TOPIC: New type of wall

I've made a "climbable wall" (using Hirst arts)
It is designed to fit against a straight river wall.
I think there are a lot of different new walls that could be made that just lean against a cavern wall.

Update: I also posted the burrow version of the wall. Made to fit against the special corner wall.

Excellent piece, Crioux! Is it permanently attached to the wall section, or is it removable?

Removable. It follows the same curve as the wall, but it stands on its own.
The pictures doesn't reflect the real color. Probably the varnish and the lighting.

I don't derserve that much praise. Using Hirst arts do take a lot of time, mainly to cast the bricks, but allows to make great add-ons to DF with minimal skills.

I think I'll make another one, but with a hole in it, a burrow (is it the proper word?) for some monster.

Maybe also a small spring, with a small pool of water at the borrom.

Any other ideas?

Good idea. As a mineral amateur, I have plenty of pyrite (fool's gold) and chalcopyrite fragments, and some crystals too.

As soon as I have some spare time, I'll get on it.

I've seen your roofs; YES, you DO.

NO, you're NOT Stefan - but you'll do in a pinch, when we can't get Stefan!
And THAT, Sir, is HIGH PRAISE.
Especially from a HYPER-CRITICAL LOUT like ME!

By the way, when doing the mineral veins, I'D suggest not overdoing it; a hint is better than a caricature, IMNSHO. Giant Gold Crystals are a caricature; a Quartzite vein with wire gold running through it is VERY realistic.

See ya!
