I'm a long time collector and fan of Dwarven Forge, and I thought I would share a handful of pics. Below are some cavern shots with a few of my painted miniatures. The miniatures range from old Ral Partha, Reaper, to some of Dark Sword's latest. Hope you like!

Thanks for the comments! Yeah, I paint all my own minis. We have a long running game that we use them for, and over the years I've accumulated quite a big collection. Brutorz Bill, I believe that the bald guy is a Reaper mini. I modified his original trident to the warhammer and I think it works a little better this way.

Very nice! The pics and the painting are both stellar! Who made the figure of the man holding the lantern? That's a really great figure. I also dig the hunched over fighter holding the torch.

Thanks again for the warm welcome to the board! I'll be sure to post more pics. For those who asked, the miniature of the man holding the lantern is from Dark Sword's "visions in fantasy" line: www.darkswordminiatures.com/index.html
The little old man with the torch is from a UK based company called Hasslefree miniatures. Its a nice resource for those oddball character miniatures, townsfolk, etc. Here's the link: hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/index.php

PS: What's the best method to post pics on this board? I really like the "clickable" thumbnails that most people seem to post--they offer larger versions of the actual pic. Any suggestions? Thanks!

hi scarab
trying to post here on move (bus home)
Great pigs and welcome. About thumpnails - when you post there is on the bottom of the page some menu which allows picture upload.
define how many - and upload them. This menu doesn't appear on the quick answer field below the post though

Hope this helps

Thod

Yes - did work ... - look out for upload slots. Change to > 0 and you can upload pictures

Hey....

I'd like to know how you did you camera shots....?

Great lighting & color on the minis, but zero flash reflection on the DF pieces....

How'd you do that?

(great everything else too, by the way!)
