Way cool setup. It looks like the heroscape tiles. I need to get me some. I alway hoped DF would do a outdoor set. What did you use for the trees are they custom made?

Nice work, Blast !! Are the tiles still modular or did the flocking glue them together?

I agree with everyone above. I love your outdoor setup. I am going to copy your stuff! Could you give a brief walkthrough on how you customized the Heroscape stuff? It looks like you painted green and then flocked the tops. The trees look like woodland scenics. What about the rocks? They look nice.

Very beautifull set up, the autumn colors are fantastic, and different levels gives realism!bravo.

Thanks for the positive feedback everybody. I will try to answer all your questions:

1. Yes, they are customized Heroscape tiles. They work GREAT and I HIGHLY recommend them!
2. Shadox, any time you are in Toronto!
3. Trees: Woodland Scenics.
4. The set up is still just as modular as a normal "out of the box" set, with the exception of the lake piece. 1 Grass tile is attached around the perimeter.
5. Treasure Quest 4.0 is available for a free download on BoardGameGeek or from my own game site (most recent files): games.groups.yahoo.com/group/pschronicles/
Feedback is welcomed as I am working on a massive overhaul for Version 5.0

Wow, it just never occurred to me to just flock these things and how absolutely cooooool they would look. Love the ruins and how they just kinda can fit in where ever you put them. Are the grey " rocks " actually painted pine bark??? Heroscape makes great trees " if a little plastic looking " but gluing them with flock then letting them interlock like that solves completely the age old " these trees keep knocking over " complaint. Many a tall oak has crashed down on my troops crushing men and tanks alike under its early weight!!!!! Not on a set up like this. DDM " for outside at least " is really complimented by this. Bravo!!!

Thanks a lot for sharing. The whole lot looks awesome. Didn't spot the pictures until today. The HeroQuest modifications are really nicely done. And trees are the next bit on my wish list for outdoors. Well - currently I have a friend bringing around his box of trees ...
