Star Wars Set-Ups! 6 Years, 9 Months ago
Hi all - I have been lurking around here for a few months, and am a longtime user of DF who just reaquainted himself with this addiction (after losing a couple years to WoW). Anyway, I recently picked up the 3 Den of Evil sets and the 3 Medieval Building Sets and just have to say AWESOME! I can't wait to get the Cavernous Chasm and a couple water sets at the end of the month. I do have to say, however, I am extremely bummed I missed out on all the early-order goodies and freebies that were offered while I was away (the shutters were cool and those submerged lizardmen are incredible). The good news is, now that I'm back, I won't miss any more!

I have been running a Star Wars game for the last 5 months and have used a DF set up for every adventure. The adventure usually breaks down to about half roleplaying aroung the gaming table, and half combat around the mini table. Well, the pictures here inspired me to take some shots of my last 2 games. These two were not very complex set-ups, but my players were blown away by the tavern set-up (mostly due to the awesome merchandise, less so the person doing the set-up!). The second set-up was mt attempt at a gladiator arena. Anyways, here is what I got - enjoy!

Edit - Unfortunately, I just found out all my pix are just over 512 kb. But they are posted on our gaming site, if you want to take a look. Just scroll down to the Episode 6 & 7 recap. Here is the link to the site/thread - rpgs.phpbb24.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=394

Sorry 'bout that

Wicked cool, I will look at mine tonight, and see, no clue off the top of my head, if you do manage to get one of these (VR) and pull the Felucian rider off, let me no, i would take the Felucian off your hands for you if you did not want it any more.

Swifthand, i found out how to do it over at SWRPGNetwork, a few years ago, this link should work...
here you go Crawl Thread

if the link i put above does not work, just head over to holonet.swrpgnetwork.com/, and do a search for Movie Maker and or Crawl. The Movie Maker search has it pop up like 2 or 3rd down.

Dunno how easy it is to remove the rider, but if your ultimate goal is simply a riderless rancor--a la RotJ--there is another figure from an earlier set (Universe, I think?) that is a plain-jane rancor.

Looking at mine, I don't think removal would be easy. The rider would be useless (he is seated in a harness), though the rancor may be workable, with some putty and paint.
