As promised on a earlier thread here is my caverns set-up for my mad scientist lab. The lab comprises 5 sets of cavern sets, numerous homemade (not made by me) gizmos, and several armorcast resin pieces. The game in the photos is from Fall-in and the rules were .45 Aventure, which is a very cool game system from Ratttrap Productions. The write up is below. I sent the scenario to the head of Rattrap, Richard Johnson himself, and hopefully he can post it in their forums soon.

The Scenario

Welcome to Skullcrusher Mountain, the lair of the insane, yet very lonely, Dr. Finkelfiend. In his newest dastardly plan, the mad doctor has kidnapped the always in peril Ms. Daringsworth, a most becoming socialite and heiress. Now, our intrepid heroes must conduct a daring raid on Finkelstein’s underground lab and brave both the very lab itself and the machinations that the doctor has placed to thwart them. Will evil prevail? Can our heroes even hope to survive? Will the poor doctor ever find true love?

That's all that I have, but Chris Vaughn's gallery, an upstanding gentleman of good repute, also hase pictures of my wild west zombie game, a War of the Worlds/Flames of War game, a .45 Adventure giant robot attack game, and some other things.

Also for those interested in the .45 Adventure rules, see below. I'm of the opinion that mixing it up pulp style might add some extra worth to your Dwarven Forge sets. We can use them for non-roleplaying purposes! :)

Thanks for listening.

Thanks for sharing. It's a rather uncommon set-up - but it's great to see different uses of DF. I like the huge open space - not something you get with just a cavenr set. Apart of RPG (D&D 3.0) I tend to use my sets for Mordheim as well. There are always other uses ...

I don't know what's going on. I thought I already fixed the problem. I assume the the gallery owner is reconfiguring the gallery and possibly making the links obsolete. Just go to the gallery link below and head to the last page, they're the fourth and fifth pics.

The control panels are a mix. Most of them are available from armorcast terrain. The bigger one was made by a fellow by the name of Lance Tryon who made many of the gizmos from various scrap components. The overall effect is genius. I will post a link to his gallery when I get home. Thanks for the interest.

Sorry, I meant to get this up yesterday. Here are close-ups of the pieces made by Lance Tyron. I don't own all those pieces shown, but most of my collection is there. Also, I don't have close-ups of the Armorcast stuff.

Thanks for uploading that link. There are some really funky pieces in that lot there :) Shows a real flare for looking outside of the box when thinking of uses for various spare parts around the house.
