Let's see if I can get this to post (for some reason it keeps failing...)

I've seen Lemax mentioned before for their trees, but I happened to come across some of their Halloween stuff at Michael's (on sale) and thought I'd share them (for those that haven't seen them). So here are some gravestones, gargoyles, and skulls (probably posted across multiple posts).

Alright figured it out... I always forget that the 1600x1200 limit means that images 1200x1600 exceed the dimensions :/

Now we just need Stefan to put us together a nice gothic church set (DoE just doesn't quite seem like a fit for these). Sometime after the next Sci-Fi set of course ;)

Hey cool. I have these since last year " the gargoyles anyway " but have keep forgetting to post pics of them. I was thinking about painting the bases for the gargoyles more to DF and leaving the other part gray. What do you think? I like the other sets too. Got to go to Michaels next check!

Hey, cool! Could you post a pic that shows scale? I can't tell how big they are...

whitewind: I think the gargoyles could definitely use some darkening (at least mine). Not sure if I'd try to match the DF color scheme or just add a little more dark grey though. But that's not likely to happen anytime soon as I'm still behind on painting up some Sci-Fi pieces.

L: I'll try to remember to take a scale shot tonight. The pieces are for a larger scale than 25mm, but that's why I chose these particular pieces. For me scale can be overlooked somewhat for things like gravestones and gargoyles. The skulls in the piles might look a little large though.

wicked cool: Yeah, I forgot to pick up the snake/rat pack. (got distracted by some spotlights that I'm going to try to turn into 'monitors' for my sci-fi game). Definitely nice for some 'normal' sized rats (instead of the dire ones from D&D minis

I know what you mean -- a really huge tombstone can be a great monument centerpiece for a graveyard, it's not at all unheard of.

Alrighty, here are some scale comparisons... not too bad.

And I stopped by Michael's again today and picked up a couple rat +snake packs. :) (was using a 40% off coupon on something else)

Thanks for the pictures fiddy.

You're right, the tombstones and crypts look great and relatively to scale with the minis, and they do look good.

The rats could be bigger than usual rats, but no real problem. Snakes and skulls aren't exacdtly to scale though..........

MIght have to pick up some of the graveyard stuff :)
