We are doing a bit more "crawl" stle adventures in this part of the Adventure path.

There are two different sections in the current adventure.

One was a big brawl inside Trog lair.

The other a small encounter in a much smaller room.

Very nice - Love the seal!

Also - that chasm floor piece is excellent - hopefully something like that will be upcoming from DF for the cavern line...

Well, we do have a darn cool chasm already, from the Fantasy Floor Set -- I use mine in cavern setups all the time...

There is a slightly better shot if him in i think #5, upper leftish corner.
I was using it as an "idol" to Laogzed, while not the most acurate from the description the mod gave it sounded good, but after reading the above wiki entry it seems a bit off, oh well, didn't think to do a search for it before hand... whoops.

Yup you have it L, the Chasm is deisgined after the one from the Fantasy Floor sets, i don't own that set, don't own really any of the Fantasy stuff (other than 1 set of curved walls and passages) there is another person in our group who owns fantasy, he never got the Fantasy floors. I like the look of it, but have limited myself to "only" DoE, MBS, Caverns and Sci-Fi... I have to draw the line someplace.... ;)
When i did this one it was kind of test to see if it worked and if it does i want to make a Bigger one.
I think it came out ok, so will one day make a larger hole. i finished up over the long weekend some smaller pools of water, larger than the ones in the Caverns set, but smaller than lake stuff, that came out pretty good. I wanted them for the smaller room, but didnt get them done in time :(

The seal is a "dire seal" that is the druid of the groups animal companion, the druid is the lion.

It came from a short lived line of Action Figures i only ever saw at Target called Dino Warriors. That specific one came from this set. I have pretty much always scanned the Action Figures and various other toys to find stuff that "works". I started doing it for 3.75 inch Star Wars figures long ago (pulled other odd ball things in for robots, aliens or critters) and kept up the trend for minis. I use loads of plastic animal minis for stuff (the Seal/dire seal) comes from one of those Safari lmtd. tobbs, as do a bunch of other animals lions, tigers, bears, rhinos etc. and i have "insects" that range from just "large" in D&D scale to some Huge and Garg that were from some range of toys i got sooo long ago (about 7-10) years that i can't find the name of the line anywhere. I used to use them as wierd monsters in SW dioramas, for people like Luke and Kyle to face off against and then all the random jedi they made.

The dino warriors were out about 2 years ago i think so they May be around. i got most of the human/dino packs but none of the bigger ones.

A few more from the ramp up to the end of the adventure.

From the Mod they are in the "City of Madness", something built by Aboleths, with living walls, etc.
Since it is "alien" in creation, and set up, i wanted to make it bizzare, and kind of random (the madness thing).
So i put a bunch of different terrain types down, and am using Tony's Alien Hive walls (which i want more of now!) to do the "living" walls.

If i can i might try to pop in an order for a few more before the big final battle... :)

Ghengis Ska

I have heard of the Hive Walls - but haven't seen them yet. Yes - they look great. They fit nicely in any Fantasy setting - they would be the first SciFi that could tempt me.
