It occurred to me that, with all the fun flourishes DF has added to the line in the past few years, it's been a REALLY long time since I took any pics of the classic stuff I originally picked up in 2001 or so. So I wanted to stage some photos of what grabbed me in the first place, some of my favorite DF elements, like the mermaid fountain, the red pillars, and so on. (of course, I couldn't resist throwing in a FEW new things....)

It started out as a battle with an intrepid young paladine against a massive ogre, but as I arranged things, I realized the setting seemed more appropriate for a massive fight against the undead. So that's what it became.

Enjoy!

Awesome! I liked how you used the door from the Medieval Expansion Set in the classic dungeon. You could always paint the top part as grey stone to make it blend in better...

L,

Those skeletons are FANTASTIC!

I am so glad I saw these pictures before I considered painting mine.

Thanks again.

Nice undead! I like the customization you did to them in terms of the Jewels, etc.

Liked the Tavaren door in there. Despite how good the skeletons were was wanting to see a wide shot of the DF stuff. :O Just to see how you used everything.
