Hey hey... as you know i haven't been collecting DF for too long... i only have one room & passage set, a mermaid fountain, and a staircase. Nevertheless, i think i set up a pretty nifty little lava room here... complete with pit fiend, fire elemental, and evil wizard.

The party attacking them didn't fare too well... it wasn't actually the pit fiend that got them in the end, it was a lethal barrage of airborne magma from the elemental.

Not bad, not bad! You do a good job of showcasing what can be done with even a moderate amount of DF.

You also appear to share my taste -- the first piece I got from DF was the mermaid fountain, followed quickly by the Wicked set with the spiral stairs....

SOmtimes the simplest....

I have never, ever thought of leaving an open area and then using colored paper, etc to show lava. water, and so on.

Thanks for teaching this ole puppy a new trick...

I can't take full credit for that...

I saw that done somewhere on this board and it inspired me to google image search "Lava Texture" so i could try.

Great Job. Really nice work and way to reuse something you saw that you liked. I also use the paper idea from time to time.

I tried to fancy up one of those shots, but it turns out the only photo editing software this computer has is windows paint!

I did the best i could, but MAN is that program limited... :( If you squint your eyes... it almost doesn't look like garbage...
