Is the Water a Painted Surface, or Is it Clear or Dyed Resin? Any Flocking on the Banks? There is A Nice Looking Site Called 'Barbs Bunker.Com' that has a very Pretty Stream/ River Set... A Little Pricey though, but I THink it is due to the Level of Detail... I Have Not "Seen" any of the Pieces from the Site however, and I Obviously Do Not Own any, They also have the Most "Unique" Forrested Terrain I Have Seen to date..

It is just a molded resign piece that is painted. There is no flocking around the banks. Like I said earlier it is a decent set, but will never win an award for realism. The price at $26.00 though is pretty good. I think the quality of the buildings is much better than the river set, but as I mentioned before I use the river set ALOT.

I have also noticed that my players never apreciate the finer things we do for them. If you buy a $75 realistic river set, versus a decent $26 set the players rarely care. My guys get more impressed by the cheesily painted D&D minis than the Reaper stuff that I spend hours on......sigh.

War Duke,

I Know what you mean... I Rarley Paint anymore (Not Cause I Don't like it), But it Seems the Nicer the Piece the More Likely some Maniac is Going to Pick it up by the Most Delicate element or Drop it or whatever... These Rascals really do Settle just fine for the Basics... Which is probably Why RPG's ever became Popular in the First Place... I Mean A Whole world can come to Life with Dice, and Paper... The Rest is Gravey... I Just Happen to Love Gravey... And the Only River Pic I Could Find was of the Toxic river? Which Looks OK... and for $26.00 You arew Right...
