Really nice! Aren't those McF dragons fantastic? They work perfectly in the DF environment. And I really love the homemade pieces you've got -- they remind me of some of the stuff Tom has posted in these forums....

Thanks very much!

As you have correctly guessed, the non-standard tiles are homemade. The lava and "acid" tiles are 1/8" stock with caulking, paint, and clear resin. The outside tiles are 1/4" or 5/8" plywood with bits of wood attached, then covered with Magic Sculp (two-part clay epoxy) and airbrushed. Hope to make more as time allows. Next time I won't use caulking as it does not hold paint well at all.

The tiered lava layout uses 2x6 and 1/4" plywood squares painted black for risers. These are easy to make (and cheap if you're remodeling like I am and have tons o' scrap).

The bridge is from one of the nationwide pets stores (can't remember which one). It is an aquarium piece.

Any chance you'd be making enough tiles to sell some?????

Oh, I recognize the aquarium piece -- in fact, if you browse through old photo threads, looking for the word "aquarium" in the title (at least, I think it was there...) you'll see the exact same piece in some pics of mine. It's a great cavern accessory!

Okay, I was curious, so I found some pics of that aquarium piece I posted awhile ago -- here it is with the cavernous water sets....

Very nicely done. Especially the raised platforms in the one dragon hall.

I'd love to have the piece used for this gate:

How did I miss this one until now?

WOW!

I especially like the critter placements, and your use of the wide-passage end pieces was inspired.

Great stuff.

BTW, Were the PCs 3rd level or 4th? ;)
