I gotta admit, I LOVE this one. Who doesn't love mysterious passages and labyrinthine construction? With the railings, you can have all sorts of ways of placing "corridors" and passageways that are visible, but somewhat less accessible. Or, for that matter, you can turn an open area into a corridor of sorts. I am VERY happy with this crazy place -- I think of it as a magic school of some kind. I don't want to take this one down!

I've also cheated a lot with the roof placement. I'm not entirely sure what it is meant to suggest, but I just thought that in some photos, it would look cool to have a roof somewhere. Maybe it suggests that part of this is an open plaza, and part of it is not. With a wooden floor? Well, it happens.

Anyhoo, enjoy!

Oh My Oh My this is fantastic. I hope you do not mind but I will be copying some of this. You have given me an idea for a cat burglar game.

Great setup, L. I love it. That first shot is fantastic. You have so many wonderful things in it...from the catwalk with railing to the use of the diagonal walls in the first room. Yes...I'll be wanting to copy some of these things as well. Truly inspired.

Thank you for sharing!

62 sets and counting. In addition, a boatload of individual pieces or sets of pieces.

That's great, L. I especially like the catwalk with candles and railing. Are those narrow passages underneath supporting the catwalk level?

Yup, narrow passages. They are the best way to support a higher floor -- perfect for it, and one of the strongest reasons to hope for a Narrow Passage set re-release!

Glad you enjoyed the pics!

That is AMAZING!

Especially, the use of the (stacked) diagonal walls. They really keep the various room sections well-connected.

EXCELLENT setup! It looks great; MAN, do you have some architectural skills or WHAT?

By the way, in the second shot, the chick with the purple robes and the red ball? I hate to say this, and it's a comment on the sculptor, not you (unless you re-posed the figure), it looks like she's about to serve a volleyball!

I think the term to describe your MBS work is "Inspiring."

WOW. My favorite setup as well....might have to copy that for the Gen Con Set up...would that be O.K.?

Wouldn't be quite the same without some of those wonderful figs slinking about...and your photography is amazing...but I am sure people would be blown away anyway...it really shows how one can use the balconies and diagonal walls...

great, great Job!

Glad you liked the pics! And of course anyone is free to copy any of my layouts -- though some of them (like this one) would be really sadistic to use on players. These are cramped quarters! Most of the rooms in this place are pretty small, it would be a tight fit for most fights, and a lot of spells would be tricky here too!
