Sorry, no pictures, but asking for some help to find some. I have been working a lot on the Wikipedia article about Dungeons & Dragons - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeons_%26_Dragons I would like to find a picture of an actual game in progress to illustrate the article. As I also think Dwarven Forge stuff is great I think a fantastic picture would be a game being played with Dwarven Forge scenery. Wikipedia has a strick policy against advertising so I can't just put a link in the article. But it can be in the description of the picture, so I think it would be good exposure if people see DF stuff in use in a picture.

What I would most like is a picture of an actual D&D game (any edition) in progress. If someone is running a game just take a nice pic of the table. I envisage a picture with DF in the centre, minatures on it (preferable majority official D&D miniatures but others are OK) some dice/D&D books/character sheets/DM screen/maps on the edges of the table and players, either fully shown or at least a few hands etc and some action such as moving a mini or rolling a die.

In the broader scope I would like to contrast this with a picture of a D&D not using any mini's grid at all, thought it's probably hard to find one here on a DF webboard. Also there are wikipedia articles on other games and a general role-playing game article if people have pictures of other games being played with DF stuff.

Anyone that can help out can upload pictures here with a note on permission to use the picture under one of the liscences listed on en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Image_copyright_tags#For_image_creators Or you can upload it directly to wikicommons yourself on commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Upload (free registration required to upload) and let me know or add it to the article yourself.

Thanks for reading this far without a pic. I apreciate any help anyone can give. Hopefully I haven't asked anyone to do anything out of their way, and I can get a snap like a want when someone tries out their new set with some friends over Easter.

Some of my picture threads have pictures taken during the game. They are all titled, "This Weeks Dungeon".

Thanks Phillip. I have found some good photo's in www.dwarvenforge.com/dwarvenforums/viewtopic.php?pid=21173#p21173 www.dwarvenforge.com/dwarvenforums/viewtopic.php?pid=15595#p15595 and www.dwarvenforge.com/dwarvenforums/viewtopic.php?pid=16392#p16392

Sorry to be pedantic about permissions by use in Wikipedia is quite specific and photos are quite frequently deleted unless the uploader can show they have permission. As you took the picture and nothing on the website here when you upload says anything about the copyright, you automatically own copyright to those pictures unless you explicitly state otherwise. To make it simple I have provided a statement for you and if you could repost this with your name and date so I can use the pictures you posted in the above thread freely.
I have selected GNU Free Documentation License as the most appropriate lfree liscence to use. While designed for documentations on computer program this www.gnu.org/licenses/licenses.html#FDL will also cover images. What it means is anyone is free to use it, but you must be acknowledged as the original photographer no matter how much the pictures are modified. Basically this stops people using your pictures and presenting them as their own work, which they could do if you released the images to the public domain. If you are interested you can choose one or more alternatives from choose at least one from commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Copyright_tags
