I used a Plasticard sheet with a basic brick pattern on it -- I curled it very tightly and kept a rubber band around it overnight, so it would hold the basic shape and not fight the glue and uncurl while it was drying. Then I just glued it in place with zap-a-gap. It didn't fit quite perfectly, but the imperfection is minor, and this isn't the kind of piece I wanted to labor into perfection anyway. It was just a knockoff for a larff and a neat jungle accessory.

Hey L,

I swear Wizards of the Coast must be looking in on YOUR idol idea...

...their sneak preview for the new miniatures coming out soon freaked me out! it looks like MODOK with claws!

...anyway, I thought you would be interested, if you haven't seen it already.

Ghostmage;

I doubt it would be the FIRST time WotC swiped something un-copyrighted from someone else! I don't THINK they've ever stolen something out from a copyright, but if it ain't protected, it's fair game, in most businessmen's minds. And regardless of how good or bad the WotC creations are, they ARE under Hasbro management, which is some of the sharpest operators in the game and toy world. They're even slicker than GW, and anyone who's been here a while knows what I think of THEM.

Jeff and Stefan are nowhere NEAR as slick as WotC, but they are a LOT more ethical than ANY of the other companies. Of course, that frequently means they're scraping the barrel for cash to do stuff, but they hold our loyalty because of it.

See ya!

Yeah it kinda does. I was looking at some of the older previews and thought that the Black Razor Throng looked like the old muppet Beaker??!! LOL, in armour of coarse " now careful with that soul sucking sword Beaker "... But Really. this idol is just great. Well done!

Oh that is right my son blew it up during the new year's celebration with a M80. Hmmm Wonder if I can find the pieces.
Depending on how big the pieces are, with a little sanding, you might get a very cool "destroyed statue" thing happening.
