I assume this will work for caverns as well, if a bit more care is taken because of the irregular floor tiles?

Now that we are moving to bow-tie-less peices for fantasy peices, I would like to have some pre-painted wedges for my existing 20+ sets that I could simply glue into place. I dont mind that they wont be a perfect fit (the bow ties arent anyway) - but they would look better than leaving the holes or cutting bow-ties in half...

Anyone considering this - even as a third party addon? I'm for 1,000 :-) I will be extending my collection of with advanced sets and narrow passages when they come on line and I'd like to stick with one format (it will be messy at the joins).

At the worst case an unpainted wedge with the texture and gap between slabs ready for painting and gluing would be useful. Though this would still take some time for all the painting it would not be so critical as painting in-situ..

I realise the cavern sets may be more tricky but perhaps someone could look at what may work here.

I was just coming in to bump this thread.

If you have a vise and a dremel (or equivalent), you can cut some bowties in half and glue/putty them into place to fill the slot.

Another possibility would be a pre-colored putty that we could put in the slots and let dry.

With the coming shipment are packs of "half bow ties" 100 to a pack. These can be used to glue into the holes of sets you might already have. Hope this helps:)

I still like my bowtie holes. I'm keep'n them :) The bowties are great for using as debris.

Also, I would like to note that this thread is an excellent reference for color-matching homebuild terrain with Dwarven Forge. Oh Ochre, how did I make dungeon terrain without you?
