I really like your setup alot! I recongize some of that but can you tell us the individual scenery manufacturers? What is the blue rock looking material? What about the non DF in the center room?

WOW - love the mushroom tent village - where are those peices from?

Also - the whole set-up appears to be elvevate off the table, yes? How did you accomplish this?

How many DF sets was that set up? Approximatley what were the dimensions (3ft x 5ft ?)

Really excellent looking and very inspiring!

McWulf

I love the layout and yes indeed - the village and the mushrooms look great together with all the DF. I also love the temple in the center.

Haarnloot

I had a quick count earlier as I was interested myself. It is 8*12 squares = 80 cm * 120 cm. Of the 96 squares 16 are non DF in the center and 17 cavern tiles. This leaves 63 water tiles and without checking it individually I would guess 3 lake, 3 river plus the three free open water tiles (= exactly 63 tiles).

Nice setups. I like the idea of having the food under the DF!

Great work on the mushrooms and the Hirst Arts (I believe) centerpiece.

mcwulf,

Every part of it looks great, especially the centre section!

I am also intrigued by the blue crystal area, is it made of crushed glass or something more user-friendly?

Either way, thanks for the remarkable post.

mcwulf;

I HAVE to add my congrats on the use of HA with DF; it is so well done that it looks as if DF did it! Correct me if I'm wrong, but are the thatch-roof round huts MBA, or Ainsty? I KNOW I've seen them SOMEWHERE in an on-line catalogue SOMEwhere, but I can't remember where!

That also looked like some first-quality Banana Nut Bread that guy was inhaling off the plate; I hope he enjoyed it, because I enjoyed the progression of disappareance!

I would also be interested in seeing the map from the wall; I've always been fascinated by maps, even moreso than gaming, to be honest! After all, maps can guide you to cool MUNDANE places, places you can take Unbelievers to see. And THAT'S way cool!

Looks like you've got a winning game room, mcwulf; have fun!

Happy New Year!

mcwulf not only has a winning game rom, but also a winning gaming party... ;-)

I´m the one on the left edge of the table eating all the time...
Dungeon setup is not the only quality of mcwulf... god bless his cake !

The map on the wall is one of a little part of middle-earth, where our campaign takes part.
It´s really great to play with a gamemaster with such immense resources of mastermaze and
over a thousand painted minis from all kind of manufacturers (reaper/ fenryll/ gw/ armourcast/ ....).

And yes, the centre piece is self-made of hirst-art stones...
(You haven`t seen the egyptian pieces yet, they`re even better !)

Happy New Near to all of you guys,

Peter

Peter;

Was it Banana Nut Bread cake, as I thought it was?

Sounds like you guys have a great time when gaming. When Sandy takes down the Christmas HO Railroad, I have to get a test setup back together for the big game ReBob and I will be running at Shore Leave this July. Hopefully, I'll get pics for here, this time!

See ya!

Jim;

as good as I can remember - the photos of the dungeon are some months old - it was a nut cake,
but not with bananas...

;-)

I´d like to see pics of your test setups.
