jgardner--those are typical wooden ship models that you can find at most craft stores or on eBay as Tom mentioned in his post up top. Not sure what "brand" they are--there are probably several manufacturers (my grandfather used to collect these things when I was a kid--makes me wish I still had some!).

Do a keyword search on eBay for "wooden ships" and you should come up with a ton of links. Good luck!

For naval settings, I have come across a resin pirate ship which can be used like DF stuff, but in a naval setting. And its an Aussie site too :)

That is great Tom. thanks for the photo's. The buildings are painted very well. I like that ship Lupus. I guess it would be ideal if you got it and two of the expansions for a huge 5 masted monster! I would have liked it if the wood planks formed a grid or maybe had that as an option.
