Pardon if this is off the normal topic for this section of the forum, but this links to the same named topic on Non-Gaming Talk.

I should have taken the photos earlier in the day, before the snow started to melt.

I guess it's just that "first snow in our new home" thing. :D

Krad -

I love how snow looks on trees and bushes, especially if there's still leaves attached.
I can get along with snow on grass, etc.
I thoroughly dislike snow on my sidewalks.
I hate snow on my car!
I DESPISE SNOW on the roads, because half the IDIOTS here in Maryland CAN'T (&ER$% drive on it!!!

Well, okay; I despise the idiots, not the snow.
Know whut Ah mean, Vern?

See ya!

Heck, folks out in California would forget how to drive in the rain if it was dry for more than a week. First rain, they'd be out tailgating like crazy. In the Bay Area, the dry season would go from April or May to October or November. That first rain, especially if it was a light rain, would loosen all the dirt and oil on the road and turn it zero-coefficient. I saw so many multi-car pileups when that happened, sometimes one big crash every twenty to thirty minutes.

Looks pretty!

But Michigan... That's WAY south of here... and we still have something like +10 C right now and it's the middle of night right now... This is weird... It was +16 C earlier today...

Maybe folks in the Bay Area are that way, but that is Bay Area folks for you.
Folks farther north like in Yreka, Tahoe, Susanville and the like actually know how to deal with driving and precipt.
Then again, Southern Californians that do not live in those valleys (myself included - from 1,000 feet higher than the San Fernando Valley) also know how to drive with both rain and snow on the ground.

Then again, both Jim and I both can honestly slander Marylanders and how they drive or actually hide when there is only a couple tenths of an inch of snow on the ground.
Talk about fools and their cars!

The worse place I have ever had to drive on a regular basis is the Dakotas.
Those ice storms that come down through Canada from Hudson Bay are weather I would love to miss - permanently!

Great setup, Kradlo! How did you get that snow effect? And that grill...that's a Grendel piece, right?

How many sets did you use?

Well I forget the actual area that the hospital was but I live off and on " and I am not kidding " around 8 mile road. We " my mom and I " then moved many times between Philadelphia and Pontiac. Moved permanently away when I was about 7 or 8.
