OK -- now we've seen an inn, a tavern, an abode, and a library. So now something I've been thinking of doing since before I got the set (and since I saw how nice the MBS floor pieces look when put directly on other floor pieces) -- a theater!

I made two kinds of upper galleries -- one with the homemade railing directly hanging over the performance area, and a set of "box seats" with the window walls (and the double-benefit of making higher walls around the theater).

And then there's a shot of a bard in the backstage area, presumably near her dressing room.

I considered leaving out the final "stage" piece and making the arena ancient Greek style, with the seats higher than the stage -- but I also like the more familiar stage higher than the seats, so I compromised and did both.

Man, I need more benches. And seated minis.

Still, I really dig the theater.

Nice! EXCELLENT-- work on the the railing. I can't wait for our MBS's to arrive... I'll be needing to make a few of those rails.

Thanks for all the kind words on the Thieves' World setup... Soon I'll have more time to spend on here on the forum, respond to a few more threads, and catch up with you guys... Lately, I've relied on Georg (zoroaster100) to keep me informed on the latest. And BTW, the Pirate Toys you found are a winner...

Always a great setup L, cool painted mins, and clean photography... =)

Too Cool

I love it, L!

With those girls on the stage, I was seriously starting to look for a balcony seat!....*laughs*

L--this reminds me of an old English theatre setup--like I'm waiting for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to show up on the periphery. Great setup!
