Season 3 Episode 301 – Farewells
Original Airdate: May 16, 2006
Staring Ashla, and Heugo, Introducing Val, Ro’hana Oba and THI-1138 Featuring, The Jedi Council, T6, Vance and Gosclaug

Arriving on Ryloth, they are greeted by a Protocol droid, THI-1138 a Twi’lek model designed to help visitors while on Ryloth. It tells them that the Council is here that as soon as they freshen up the council would like to meet with them all . After freshening up, and squaring things away they go to meet with Council, bringing in all of the Jedi that were rescued from Rhen Var, and the two Sith/Dark siders as well. Ashla explains everything that happened on Rhen Var, turns the young Neti over to the Council and the Prisoners.

The Council needs time to discuss the information and releases them, Vance and Gos go their separate ways, leaving the Dark Mystic, the prisoners are taken into custody, and Ashla gains a Padawan, Ro’hana . M’ros has been accepted to the Council, and tells Ashla that Kyzera has gone off looking for her brother, reports are that he is no longer working for the Fallen on Ryloth, he might still be working for him, but just not here, so she is off trying to track him down.
While the council is deliberating Ashla, Huego and Ro’hana go to a local Spacer’s bar.

They run into a Rodian who took the shipping contracts that the Dark Mystic passed on, he is now a very rich Rodain, making regular cargo runs between, Kashyyk, Cerea, Rodia Kintan and Trandosha, he has just moved in on Ryloth and has a fleet of Transports, and is thinking of expanding. He gives some general info as the state of affairs on the planet, namely during the time the Jedi started to come with the cure, miners in some of the lower tunnels started to disappear.

After meeting with the council again, they say that they are brining in Republic support, and there is a delegate /liaison between the Jedi and the Republic, a Val. The Jedi and the Republic have plans to start rebuilding the fleet, and recruiting officers and troops to face this new Sith threat.
Ashla and Huego think they can do their part by getting their friendly Hutt Pangroba to get a few more of those ships made, so they seek him out and look over the ship. As a labor droid bolts on the last gun, a bunch of Twi’leks burst into the bay, threatening Pangroba, and the Mystic crew, trying to steal the ship.

After the scuffle, Pangroba tells them all about how the local Fallen is trying to push him off planet, and is stock pilling weapons, like proton torpedoes, and blaster cannons for all range of ships. Ashla decides he is working with the Sith and must go confront him…

GS!

I'm not sure which part is cooler; the opening title crawl, or the layout and story!

AWESOME!

At this rate, I've got a LOT of SW minis to go buy, somewhere.
Somehow.

Pre-ordered just two...
but there will be two sealed events for an extra few and a shot at another case... ;)

I think the fighter came out pretty cool.

And it took years to figure out how to do that scroll, i figured out a way to do it, during this game and have been milking it in game...

This set, Champions of the Force is going to be quit eclectic, With Figures from The Old Republic and Sith (drawn from various Comics and Games) and the ones i'm most interested in running in that era, no more Clone Troopers or Stormtroopers as Sith Troops YEAH... To som classice Rebels Vs Imps, but Rebs and Imps look small (only about 9 figs for both) But the Rebles are some of the pieces people want, a Rebelion Era Yoda, and ofcourse a Luke, but the fun one is the Atgar Cannon (the Radar Dish gun from Hoth... now we really can do Hoth battles :) ). To Clone Wars Era with some Jedi, and Loads and Loads of Clone Troopers from the Republic and again just a few of the Septs., a few (3-4) New Jedi Order (Jana Solo, Jacen Solo, and Corran Horn are "confirmed" but there might be 1-2 more unknowns) and a few odd ball fringe to bring the set to a nice 60.

Season 3 Episode 302 – Troubles with Slavery
Original Airdate: May 23, 2006
Staring Ashla, and Heugo, and Val, Featuring, Ro’hana Oba THI-1138, T6 a Gang of Slavers, Noalith'Oloth

The trusty or wants to be trusty protocol droid, wants to prove itself and THI says it knows the location of the Falleen’s primary business, the Falleen, Noalith'Oloth, is very reclusive and doesn’t typically see anyone, but there should be a way to contact him at a bar he owns in the lower area, near some of the mines he has a financial interest in. So having a place to start Ashla, Heugo, Val and Ro’hana head down into the lower levels of Ryloth, the area seldom seen by off world tourists. Much of the technology and glitter of the upper levels falls away to revile a simpler life style of the typical twi’lek, homes and businesses that cater to the natives abound and are made from the native rock, cut into many of the caverns forming a catacomb of interconnecting tunnels and rooms. The shelters that protect when the Heat Storms strike are numerous and scattered all over.

Descending deep into the mountain the group emerge onto the level where Oloth’s business concerns are. Traveling through corridors with the scents of Ryloth, the faint bitter aroma of ryll spice that permeates the area so near the mines fills the air along with, the musky scent of rylcryt one of the staples of the twi’lek diet, and the staple of the bovine like Rycrit and the remaining staple of the twi’lek, the welcoming moist smells of algae farms. The Mystic crew are seeing far more of Ryloth than most, and quickly run into the dark side of it.

Val makes out the faint sounds of a scuffle and muffled cries of help ahead, rounding a corner they observe a human and rodian standing in a doorway, as a twi’lek male forces a female into a room, the young woman is struggling and attempting to get away.

Ashla approaches and asks what is going on, the Rodian givers her some lip about how she should mind her own business and the situation becomes a bit tense, turning his full attention to her, Ashla pulls the gun out of his hands, which precipitates a confrontation between the Mystic crew and this group. Val acting in a blazingly fast move draws a blaster and guns down the Rodian and the woman, in seconds, before either of them have a chance to react really to what is going on. Two of the trandoshans run out outside, with vibro axes drawn, and swing at Ashla and Val. Huego and Val gun down one of the Trandoshans in the passage, as Ashla pulls the Axe away from the one in the hall way, and looks inside as one strikes down a twi’lek inside who had attacked him. The reaming Trandoshan in the passage runs away mumbling something about annoying Jedi* sticking their noses in business it does not belong in. As Val stuns the remaining Trandoshan into unconsciousness. Then the three of them set about figuring out what they just walked into, with the aide of THI. The Twi’leks and an Ishi Tib were “contracted” employees, the Twi’lek way around the illegality of slavery, a nearly perpetual contract of service was in effect for all of them, the three females as dancers (and one of the males), and the other male and Ishi Tib as laborers. The girl in the hall, had been trying to escape her fate, her parents sold her into, while she knew she was a dancer, she had hoped for a rich patron on planet, a young noble of a powerful clan, where she could stay with her family but her contract had been sold off world and she didn’t want to go, and was attempting to get away. The Trandoshan attempts to stall while he hopes his partner runs off to get the authorities. After much discussion reparations are made for the “murdered” business partners, and Ashla informs him that she will return and buy out the contracts of those that don’t want to leave, after talking with Oloth, the one who is holding the sale info on all of them.

They duck down behind a heat shield door, leading into the mines and tunnels that head to the surface, as the authorities reach the scene lead by the surviving Trandoshan who ran. No search is put out as things seemed to have been resolved to the Trandoshans satisfaction, and the Security Force Officers (who are corrupt don’t press the issue). However the Dark Mystic crew monitoring the situation through security feeds, see the Trandoshans think that it will be a moot point after the go see Oloth any way.

So they head down into the local bar owned by the Fallen, and where he can be contacted. As Ashla enters the room, waves of pain and nausea flow over her, she feels a little weakened, her thought that the Fallen is connected to the Sith is proven, around her Heugo fells a bit of pain, but Val shakes it off, the droids are oblivious. Heading to the bar the crew notices that many of the patrons seem somewhat dazed and unfocused, the twi’leks who most likely come here often are slow to react and seem lifeless. Sentient beings loose fortunes at the Pazzak tables and don’t seem to care. They enquire at the bar, and the tender tells them that Y only sees those with appointments and he doubts Ashla has one. Val sees one of the droids changes some of the flashing disco lights, and as emitter is replaced the somewhat more lively customers nearby get groggy again. While Ashla uses Jedi Mind Tricks on the bartender to remind him yes she does have an appointment, Val tries to get T6 to shut down the lights, however the security system protecting it is too much for the little droid, and he attracts the attention of the droids on Guard.
The bar keep clears them, and tells Ashla to wait, a few moments later, the heat storm warning alarms go off, and the patrons huddle into the back room, a store house/emergency shelter clearing the room and allowing the bar tender to open a secret door into the Faleens lair. The Fallen major-domo a Twi’lek takes them in, shutting of a myriad of traps and alarms, taking them past a hulking security droid, and into an audience with the Fallen Crime Lord Oloth.

He rests in opulence and unabashed depravity on a throne of sorts with multiple computer and networking controls tying him into the pulse of the Twi’lek information net. Ashla and he banter for a bit, before he dismisses her, sending one of his thugs forward to remover Ashla and the Mystic Crew.

*last episode a comment was made to the Mystic crew, that the Jedi were an obvious presence on Ryloth what with them helping the plague and all, M’ros was one of the ones influential in stemming that situation (got him the position on the council) along with Kyzera, and being such a visible presence on the planet some of their inquires were being shut down, so Ashla and the mystic crew were brought to the council in secret, and enlisted in secret because of their ties to the underworld figure of Pangroba the Hutt. The Trandoshan put together the use of the Force and the self-righteous attitude of Ashla as a being a Jedi.

Season 3 Episode 303 – The Trouble with Crime Lords is…
Original Airdate: May 30, 2006
Staring Ashla, and Heugo, and Val, Featuring, Ro’hana Oba THI-1138, T6, Noalith'Oloth’s gang

Drawing on almost preternatural speed Val draws his blaster, and fires on the Falleen, gunning him down, before anyone else can react or do anything. Ashla goes on the defensive as a few of the amassed thugs attack Val, who dispatches a few more, Heugo joins in with his combat remote firing on a few, as finally Ashla slices through the Whipid in one strike… Something seems wrong, they think it should be easy but not this easy. There is a furious but quick battle as Heugo’s remote peppers the thugs and Ashla redirects some of their attacks back at them, in the midst of this a human approaches the bloodcarver and skewers him with a vibro-rapier. Val goes down, as a Trandoshan takes down Ro’hana, and an errant blast takes THI out of the fight. The Mystic crew is down half of its number, and Heugo is looking a little winded, as even Ashla works up a sweet.

However with most of the heavy hitters down, the tide turns and as the thugs blast away, and their shots are turned back on them a Rodian breaks and orders the Twi’lek major domo to open the doors, so they can flee. He complies, but in doing so there are a series of Security droids below, that start to march up the hall.

Ashla bounces them off the walls as Heugo dives for the computer system, as most of the muscle flees away from the droids, only the Twi’lek major domo goes past them out the front door. The sounds of the receding mob quits as Heugo delves into the computer system, most of it looks like it is pure show, it controls almost nothing, but it does seem to be connected to something else. Heugo starts to slice the other system, and gets into it, there is someone nearby who has been remotely controlling and operating a number of things. In an epic struggle of computing skills Heugo manages to take over portions of the other system, and begins to lock the other user out, during this a pair of more combat droids starts to head down, Ashla slams one into the wall, but the other begins to repair it, Val and Ashla battle the droid, destroying one, the other in retaliation lobs a Thermal Detonator at them, as the smoke and rubble clear, it seems the droid is amazed that they have survived. It is dispatched, and Val salvages some Detonators from it.

As Heugo begins to systematically cut the other user out of the system the faint sounds of maniacal laughter turn to swearing, in an effort to stop escape Heugo has gotten into a few likely systems for escape routes and other things of that nature, one subdirectory seems worth checking out, “Survival insurance”, digging into it there seems to be some sort of vital system monitoring that is controlling the release of something, with a few options from lockdown, release, and kill Heugo decides to release it and see what happens…
Nothing much, other than a cry of anguish from the same voice as the laughter, and then no one seems to be obstructing Heugo's actions, with ease he rummages through the system until he notices a few odd things, it seems to be slowing down, there are two causes, a set of protocols that seem to be taking up lots of memory, and something destroying info and programs. The protocols appear to be designed to cause an overload in a power station, the buildup looks like enough to serve as a self-destruct for the complex. As Val and Ashla head up towards the room where the laughter was from, Heugo tries to stop the overload building, fighting against the corruption of the system, he manages to slow it, but sees that the power build up is causing an interesting degeneration of another power subsystem...
He wonders what that is, as Val and Ashla break into what looks like another audience room, this one however has more function with computer banks, and an interesting force field cage in the corner, as Val and Ashla head for only visible exit out of the room, the notice two things, one the force field containing what ever critter that thing is also happens to be failing, and there is a pair of suspended animation pods. Heugo stops the subsystems power loss and the force field firms up, Ashla goes to check out the pods, wiping away the thin layer of frost reveals two humanoids, Val heads through the door, and is attacked by a security droid. Val tumbles past it, as the droid continues to fire on him as Ashla, dispatches it.

About this time Heugo realizes what he released… the release command was for a Lylek , which is now running amok in the lower caverns, Heugo locks down many of the doors an keeps it out of most of the habitable areas, and it is headed into a side tunnel by some of the Twi’lek security forces, and the help of Pangroba’s men. Ashla coms Pangroba about the creature, it turns out is a doashim that is locked up, Pangroba is very happy and wants one, the Hutt doesn’t recognize the other creatures but they start to investigate what they are, turns out they are Dashade, which turns Pangroba off from adding them to the menagerie, it doesn’t deal in sentient species. Heugo cracks his stubby fingers and goes to work on pillaging data files, and info from the Falleen's systems, transferring money, and info.

Everything in hand the Crew of the Dark mystic decide to head out, walking down the stairs, and heading back toward the bar, they find the dead body of the Twi’lek major domo of the Fallen slumped at the door back into the bar. T6 investigates and the protocol droids seems confused,” …but Master Ashla and her pupil where with us, how could this man have been killed with a lightsaber?”…

Season 3 Episode 304 – Feel the Power of… glub… gurgle *Expire*
Original Airdate: June 6, 2006
Staring Ashla, and Heugo, and Val, Featuring, Ro’hana Oba THI-1138, T6, Lord Tormino

As the secret door back into the bar opens the Crew of the Dark Mystic see a Sith Lord, standing before them, the bar is dark and he appears to be alone, and awaiting the arrival of the Mystic Crew. Standing with lightsaber drawn and at the ready the room is poised for action, which one will act first…

In a sudden blur of moment Val draws a gun and sends off a spare of blaster bolts at the Sith Lord, who with a bit of effort dodges the blaster bolts, however it comes close enough to singe his cape, he the Sith Lord is not pleased. Then Ashla rushes forward, as she enters the room, she is wracked by waves of Dark Side Energy, that sap at her strength, almost making her pause from the blow it deals her, but she pushs forward and makes a swipe at the Dark Lord with her saber, the Sith lord pulls his own saber in front just in time to deflect the blow away, but he is a bit strained, he starts sweating from the effort and the close call he had from both Ashla’s and Val’s attack.

Doing a back flip off the table he retreats away, as Ashla shouts for Val to take out the emitters that are some how connected to the energy drain she is feeling. Val moves in and fires point blank into the control panel on the bar. Which responds with a satisfying implosion as the monitor collapses and some popping and smoking from the melting of components. Ashla moves forward again following the Sith Lord and strikes at him, he doesn’t bring his guard up fast enough and with amazing precision Ashla finds a hole in Tormino's defenses her saber hits home, piercing him in a powerful lunge, she sends a lightning fast jab straight into his chest. Tormino looks down in utter shock as Ashla’s blade has transfixed him, as she withdraws the blade T’mos, The Dark Lord Tormino slumps forward a look of shock on his face as his hilt clatters to the ground from his limp hand, closely followed by his body, dead silence fills the room for a heartbeat as what should have been a serious struggle between powerful combatants ends before the fight has even started. In the silence the blast doors open and Twi’leks flood into the room to defend their now fallen Lord, and the Security droids spring to life, the fight has just begun.

Following programmed responses the droids move forward, some engaging Ashla in melee while others fire on her from a distance, or target Val. Ro’hana enters the room to aid her Master, but is buckled by the dark side energy and retreats, knowing she cannot survive another entry into the room. Val also retreats to the hallway after taking concentrated fire from a number of droids and the Squad of Twi’leks, Heugo sends his remote in to battle the droids, and provide some covering fire or be another target and take some of the heat off of Ashla. Darting in and out of the fire of the droids and Twi’leks Val readies a thermal detonator, and lobs it into the cluster of Twi’leks taking them all out in one explosion and even damaging one of the droids.

With less pressure on her from multiple sides, Ashla starts playing pong with the droids smashing them into walls and each other. Val and Heugo’s remote cover the stalwart Sullistin as he runs across the room dodging blaster fire, and the occasional droid to get to the controls in an effort to shut down the energy field.

As he moves forward a droid goes flying past him, narrowly missing him as Ashla sends it into a wall again, trying to batter it to pieces.

As Val and Ashla mop up the remaining combatants Val goes down from a lucky hit from a droid, Huego connects his computer up to the terminal and tries to figure out what is going on with the lights, this system doesn’t seem to have access to it, so he runs back to the bar repeating the process as Ashla looks on in amazement that T’homs’ wounds seem to be healing in front of her eyes. There is a sense of urgency now that he could rise again, and no one in the room could handle him, so Ashla Stuns him and ties him up, Heugo discovers a set of computer terminals in the back room. Logging into the system he shuts down the Force harvesting system, a heavy darkness that was present in the room lifts as Ashla moves the Sith Lord out of the area, and sees that his wounds have now stopped healing.

Heugo downloads the data from system and they all head out back up to the surface, carrying their wounded they trudge to the surface, but find their way blocked by a rampaging Lylek.

None of them are in the mood to deal with the beast so Ashla summons the force and pins the creature to the wall clearing their way through the tunnels.

The local Twi’lek security forces and some of Pangroba’s men take full advantage of the situation and rush forth stunning and binding the creature. Pangroba then takes possession adding it to his menagerie. The Mystic Crew head up to the upper levels, and turn T’homs over to the Jedi, as Val and Ro’hana are healed a bit by the Healers on staff and then take a dip in a kolto tank to fully heal up.

After the recuperation of the Mystic crew, the three of them are brought in to interrogate the Dark Jedi. After much debate, they finally begin to rattle him, Heugo sending the crippling remark that from what he “understands of the force, it is more powerful than a cheap laser light show” referring to the intricate system that T’mos had engaged to drain the force from the patrons of the bar.

Tormino seems to be working for someone else, another Sith Lord, perhaps Lish, but it is uncertain in the end it is decided that they will sever him from the Force, and entrust him to the care of the order to re-train him.

After wards the Jedi and the Republic meet to discuss what they have learned, that the Sith fleet is massing, and they are preparing an assault The Republic begins to recruit soldiers and pilots and the Mystic crew transfers to the Republic carrier Vigilance to begin some flight training.
