I think i might have to ask my FLGS (the top floor of which is part doll house stuff and the rest Trains) if they carry or can get some S Scale. I looked at the O they have and placed minis next to them, and the train stuff just look really too darn big. O is too big and HO too small. from the research i have done S is the closest to 25/28 mm figures but not carried by a lot of places, and i hate buying stuff from pictures on line, with out haveing seen a sample up close.

Mega even has some interesting modern, no ultra/modern or future but heck the pool table looks interesting... :)

Is there a Web page for Mega Minis?

Thanks!

As a DM, I had to explain to an overzealous archer-you CANNOT do subdual damage with a bow-not unless you using it as a club. He was quite shocked at this statement! LOL

You are right GS; S is the correct scale for 28/25mm gaming.
You will have to, for a while yet, be buying across the WEB GS; sorry.
S went out of fashion for about 35 years GS.
It only started to make a comeback about three years ago; it is going to take another few years before it gets up a steady head of steam.

RabidFox*!

THAT was a terrible pun! Bad Fox; bad, bad fox!
Hold out your wrist, where I can smack it.:D :D

(But it WAS cute.)

Yeah, unfortunately, S-scale RR'ing is just starting to come back big. American Flyer and S-Helper Service are about the ONLY S-scale stuff out there beyond some cottage industry stuff, and very little of it is figures.
However, what IS out there is mostly pretty good stuff.

See ya!

Ah-ha! S-Scale... I knew there had to be something closer than the O or HO stuff I had been looking at... :)

And I even managed to find someone here in Indy that makes some of the things I've been looking for (tree stumps, fences, and ladders). They're carried by HobbyTown USA (at least the local one), so if you've got one of those nearby, take a look (or order online). I'm going to try to pick up some things this weekend, if I manage to I'll post some pics.

But now that I know what scale to search for, hopefully I can find some other things as well. :)

I guess this is the case, i have actually found a number of places that sell kits, buildings, detail itmes etc for S-scale but very few that sell People... it seems a number of places just use smaller O figures and fudge it (or at least that is what i have found) or for the price of the figures they just look to blooby to be worth the $ they are asking.
