The Dark Tower of Cabilar was one of my favorite adventures in (1st dungeon mag. adventure #1). Master of the House YATTEL-ETTES is one tough vampire.
Heres a few pics of this 3d adventure. Like to hear what your favorite adventure is
from Dungeon mag?

VERY NICE, Bugman!

Now I know what to do with that Gothic Graveyard mold that Hirst Arts is selling; it has the perfect coffins! AND, Bruce recommends using resin with it, instead of plaster!
Huzzah!

Nicely done setup, Bug. I see you custom built several of the pieces; have you looked at using some of the newer DF pieces? I'm not 100% sure they will work any better but if they DO improve the fit over the older DF, then it will be more uniform appearance. If not, oh well; you still have your custom parts. For that matter, a dark wash, say burnt umber and earth brown in a 50/50 mix, then well-thinned, would probably be the colors to darken down your customs to match the DF look.
Otherwise, everything seems to match up. Again, great job!

See ya!

Nice custom stuff here. I have seen a few on bay that look similar, very nice. I must say to the dungeon designer though. Of all bridges to gap a molten lava pit? A Jacobs Ladder? Ahhhhhh Dex check -10!!

It appears that some of your tiles have a "whitish" look. Is that just due to the camera or are they custom?

I think (they look like it at least) Custom tiles made using Hirst Arts, my guess would be molds #70 (Fieldstone Wall) and #203 (Cracked Floor Tiles)

Is Hirst Arts a company that sells customized DF compatible stuff? Do you have a link for them?

Thanks.

Hirst Arts has no connection to Dwarven Forge HLD.
They just have a cast-yourself product (plaster molds) that is somewhat compatible with Dwarven Forge Master Maze.

Here's the link:
www.hirstarts.com/

Hope you like painting terrain HLD; you will have to do so with Hirst Arts terrain.
Some folks do enjoy it and so they prefer Hirst Arts terrain to Master Maze.
Hirst Arts stuff is more fragile though.
We had a discussion here on the forums a while back about that.

HA stuff is pretty cool - there are some AMAZING creations out there! If I had talent (and time) - I'd love to try to do it. But, for the rest of us, there's DF - who most of the REALLY cool and REALLY hard work for us - freeing us to simply be creative for our designs and time to play them.
