I came up with this idea when I was using the 2" MM plates at a 45 degree angle building the Pyramid. This would be a cool setup for a superhero skirmish or maybe a Top Secret adventure to name a few. What’s cool is the drop from the surface of the road to the river below river is 15". That works out to 150 feet in 25-28 MM. Quite the fall for a troubled PC…

Sorry to ask again, IO, but seeing all the great uses to which you put those plastruct water sheets I'm really tempted to buy several of them. I was just wondering, the ones you used in these pictures, do you know if they are the "blue agitated water" or "calm water" or "stormy water" or which texture they are? The website I found selling them lists so many different colors and textures, but no pictures, so it's hard to decide which ones to buy for use with Dwarven Forge.

I also have to ask -- what on EARTH did you build that on?

The ones used in the City of the Gods say “All Scales Calm Water"and are blue-tinged. If you can you’d be better off with clear sheets if you can get them. I think they make them. Also check the “glass" sheets some are textured similar to water. This way you can put different colored sheets of construction paper below them making different liquids, i.e.…water, lava, blood, toxic-green sewage, etc…

The water sheets used in the Dam are not Plastructs. I don’t know what company makes them; their just cheep clear rippled sheets 12" x 36" for making under the Christmas tree displays. We just put blue paper underneath them.

LOL! No, it’s not a table made for a family of midgets and basketball players. I just stacked up terrain boards on one side.

Thanks, IO. Much appreciated. That's a good idea about using clear sheets with different colored paper underneath for different liquids.

Thanks for the comps gang!

I'm sending you all a couple of postcards from the Dam.

What’s cool is I also found a few historical photographs that were taken near the Dam’s completion in early 1954.

These were the three men responsible for overseeing the project. Senator Bill Green, Congressman and head of the Department of Transportation William “chipper" McCarthy, and Top Union Representative Sal Corleone.
