I like the idea of pics that fit on the screen, but I'm not sure how easy that will be to implement.

There is a web site that I know of that automaticly scales photos. I think this is the link. www.coolminiornot.com It is a site were folks can vote on painted mini's that either you or someone else paints. LOL. My best mini's that I have painted have gotten medioker results. I try ti tell myself that these are mini painters the world over so 4 or 5 out of 10 is not so bad.

No, no, no, no, NO.

A PUMA is a British-designed and built Helicopter, and a COUGAR is an obsolete jet fighter built by Grumman, and derived from the basic PANTHER of the late-'40's.

Now that we've totally diverged from the questions we were working on, let's just say that everyone has opinions, they often diverge, and should be respected by the rest of us even though half of us think they're crazy, and the other half practically worship the originators of the opinion.

Or, as I'm so fond of saying, "Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks; that's why they make Fords and Chevys!"

But I DID enjoy the taxonomy debate.

Now what was the point of this discussion? I forgot.

I can't believe that I still come to this site. I've not checked in for awhile as there has been no new Sci-Fi on the horizon.

What the heck do cats have to do with Dwarven Forge, and what the heck does a poster desperate to play show and tell with his google search knowledge have to do with DF?

Would someone please smack that guy if they ever meet him.

Thanks.

Thanks for playing nice here like the moderator asks Zug.

Then again, I can do jokes too - like that last sentence.

See ya!

Yes, and he's always watching. ;)

A certain amount of off-topic discussion is not a big deal, but let's steer this thread back on topic, and keep it friendly.

(And I shouldn't have to reiterate this, but no personal attacks. Play nice.)

I know some boards have this option, and if it is possible, it might be an easy way to solve some problems:

Can it be possible for users to "block" other users, privately? So you simply never see their posts? It allows people to post, and everyone who simply would rather ignore a particular person is free to. I realize, of course, that they could do it on their own, but this feature is present on a lot of other forums, and there's a reason. It actually does help keep the peace.

That way, some people can simply stay out of each other's way, and nobody will be tempted to open a can of whup@#$@ on the forums.

Just a thought....
