Right now we are putting all our chips/moolah into NEW Awesome Sets...If those sell well then we will have the cash to re-stock older sets...I personally will not be paying myself in the fall in order to come up with the cash...If the new sets don't sell great....lets not visit that scenario...I am going to put my faith into the DF collectors...Please do your best to support our company this fall we are going to need to beat the drums in order to keep alive...we will be down around 2-3 Hit points when Winter comes...

I love to support DF, but my space for storage is quite limited, and I think I'm going to have to let go the Woodland set as I did with the Lake Expansion and the Ruins. I'm afraid I can't only take those sets which cover really new environments that I can use almost any time in any dungeon.

But there are another projects in the making this year so I hope I can contribute, if anything snow/ice cavern comes out I'm in, and the same for the Hellscape 2. Besides, if the Wooden accesories is a small one, I will pick it too!

Can I have spiderweb cavern set and sewer set pleeeeaseee? :-)

Greetings!

I am REALLY excited to see DF putting new product out, and I'll do what I can to show customer support. Things have been tough since I graduated -- 2 kids plus law school debt equals less $ for daddy's hobbies.

BUT I don't think I can allow Hellscape 2 and Ice Caverns to slip my grasp! I had to put WA3 on hold, much as I thought it looked cool. I'm holding off judgment on the woodland set until I see it. I'll almost certainly get the accessories, but I may have to wait before taking the plunge on the main set, especially if it's super-expensive.

Sadly, I may have to sell some older stuff on eBay to afford some new purchases, in terms of both space and money. I can more readily justify getting new sets if I no longer have 10 ROTA sets and 7 MBS sets... ahem....

Wow. My little question generated this much chatter. Cool! A verbose community is a healthy one. Stefan, I will wait for the restock (so you guys get the money) and direct my enthusiasm and wallet towards the new sets. Something on the way in addition to the woodland set? We wonders.... yes we do...

My collection *aches* for the lake sets, but it is not to be...for now. On the positive side, DF can count on me to pre-order the Woodland sets!

I have this set and love it. What I would like to see though is an expansion of the river set.....maybe a waterfall and rapids. Or perhaps a nice floating log that is big enough to "ride".

A waterfall is CLEARLY what this set needs, but I wonder if it would ever happen. I get the impression that these sets were a lot more expensive to produce for DF, even if they WERE big sellers. And it may not be a set Stefan plans to revisit.

If he does, though -- MAN, a waterfall would be awesome. Since the cavern sets are the most 'three-dimensional' of all the various DF offerings, and since the chasm set encourages the kind of multi-tiered caverns that would make a waterfall AWESOME..... I've already posted a lot of pics of elaborate caverns with water on the lowest level.. I'd LOVE to be able to do more....

I think it could sell quite well, especially if it got released as a limited edition set with the waterfall available separately after the complete set sold out.
And to give credit where it is due, I think it was Crioux who made his own waterfall and posted the pic. I was blown away by that but would be clueless how to make my own. But I would gladly pay Stefan and Jeff.....

I understand that the Cavernous Lake Expansion is out of stock, and won't be restocked until Spring 2012 or later, but can the set (and its new price) be added to the appropriate Products section?

It would allow customers to see all of the wonderful possibilities for cavernous set-ups, and allow us to plan our budgets.

Thank you.

Did the cavernous lake expansion set not end up making it in with the April restock?

As far as I can tell it is available now for preorder (I preordered one) and it will ship on April 19th (or around).
