Have you ever considered making Canyon of the Gods? Or, a city setting like Cobbletown? How about Crypts & Tombs of Emerald Isle?

These have got to hold a special enough meaning for you which can be artistically materialized in a special Dwarven Forge set. I know that I would buy a limited edition set knowing they were part of your early inspirational years.

he,he,he...that video has got to be 10 years old now...I miss that giant studio I had in brooklyn...my new studio is smaller, but it is in a better area, once I settle in I'll have to post pics...

in truth, I think I can make those cities and dungeons using what we have now...Medieval Building set, Ruins Set, ROTA, etc...

Thanks for digging that up, it was part of a Documentary by Jesse Spiro called "The D&D Experience" It was fun, and Jesse became a good friend:)

We have some of the old papers that came with some of the original Master Maze sets we bought way back when.
Is Jesse the inspiration for the name of the Minotaur in these papers?

Actually, Spiropolous the Minotaur was created to honor my childhood friend Spiro Tryantafylou from Greece. He lost his Life in the lower East side of Manhattan when we were young. He was brave, and I think it should be noted that he died while defending a girl from a street thug who was never caught. his heart was pierced by a knife.

Among other things, It is a great saddness that he never got to see the creation of DF, he would have been enthralled for sure...so in his honor I made him a part of it's beginning...

He is missed allways.

Thanks for sharing those amazing videos as those were some of the best looking adventure maps I have ever seen. I showed the videos to my wife and after watching them, I had to dig through my old dnd stuff from middle school and early highschool to show her my map collection.

After examining the stack of graph paper maps my wife finally realized why
I am nuts for dwarven forge. Dwarven forge is the ultimate realization of a childhood dream and it's nice to see she finally gets "it". Unfortunately I don't think that means she wants me to get any more but at least she understands why I am so passionate about the hoard of boxes in the closet.
