Has any thought of making 2"x2" water tiles that can be used with different sets. Maybe use them with rooms and passages for making sewers. How about other uses for em, especially if they would come with other specialty pieces?

Seems an earlier message I tried to write got lost ?

Have a search for sewer and Thod - you should find some examples I did two or three years ago using glass tiles used for kitchen or bathroom from a local merchant. They are pretty much the exact size and height and adding some fleece under them made them fit nicely. I then used HirstArts for freestanding walls - in case I only wanted a walkway on one site.

The main problem with the tiles: I had to buy them as a mosaic in 4 colours. I solved the issue by buying enough and selling of two of the colours on E-Bay together with some walls. And the tiles of course are nice and clean - you would want them to look more dirty, with stuff floating in it etc.

You could have got some designer Italian tiles with even better colours as well as sizes 2*4 or 1*1 and 1*2 in addition to 2*2. Unfortunately these were several times the cost to my solution. But I would suggest to look at tile shops.

Here's one...

That looks cool but I was actually thinking more along the lines of a Dwarven Built piece. Something that I know will work great with sets I already own.

Stefan:
"...my thought is that if we do a sewer set it should have it's own distinct look, and not be an add on to the river or lakes...It would be totally different, a totally new environment...very dirty and slimy...I think a transition piece (or two) leading to the rivers or lakes would be a good idea"

Important Note: This is almost certainly just speculation on the future, nothing definite, probably not even in the planning stages!

I infer from the above that sewers would be a limited run, like DoE and RotA, but I may be wrong.

In the meantime, substitute Open Water tiles for Thod's and you've got a great big sewer or underground canal.

I think a Sewer Set would have to be a totally new design because it would just be so kool....no plans in the near future however...
