Hi-

I would love to have a set of Modern Day building interior/exteriors, sidewalks, streets and misc. urban stuff , maybe even including break away walls, for use with Modern Games/Super Hero games.

Is there any chance of this happening? I know that the miniature building authority does some but I would be looking to have bigger interiors than just the pop the roof off. The Scifi would be good for "Villian Lair" for Supers games but if your playing D20 Modern, Delta Green, Call of Cthulhu it wouldn't work.

I would love to have some 'modern' building sets. Not only to use for modern games, but also for some variety on running sci-fi games as well. Not all sci-fi stuff has to take place in shiny metallic hallways... After all, I'm planning to use my DoE, MBS, dungeon, cavern, and lake sets in my upcoming Star Wars campaign. It would be nice to have something with a style somewhere between the Sci-Fi line and MBS lines though.

Of course Stefan probably already has at least 20 sets on his wishlist of things he wants to make :)

The first bloc of the third column on the page above features the sort of architecture you are looking for. It features car parks, sidewalks, building exterior walls, and other bits of modern-day urban building. There is also a set of rooftops, but I can't vouch for their stackability -- I think they are just meant to be put on the table for those fights and chases that happen on top of buildings. (Anyone who goes over the edge gets a chance to save vs damage, and loses X actions getting back up.)

I also don't know if these come painted or not.

jackattack;

No; Ainsty products are unpainted resin (I just bought a bazillion pieces for sci-fi!).
IF you can find 'S'-scale Design Preservation Models modules, they would be perfect for 25mm minis; if not, go with 'O'-scale; a little large, but not too bad. Be prepared for lots of kitbashing, though, and some replacement of 'O' windows and doors with 'S'.
It all depends on what you're willing to work with for your gaming scenery. AND, remember, if you build a master in styrene, you can duplicate it in resin - in pieces!
AND SELL IT!

Just a thought.
