I'll do it, if someone wants to finance me. I reckon around £150,000 should get us started!

Woooooh! this smells tasty! "help us obi wan kenobi you are our last hope..."

Crossing fingers over here...

I have to say that I've dealt with otherworld through ebay and has been a super nice dealer, and as far as I know he has a lot of experience in business, even with DF stuff.

Greetings!

I received notification that my Feb order is waiting for me to pay customs charges and then I can have it mwahahahahaha! Actually that won't be 'til next week, but that's my own fault for going on a bender last week and spending all my money on beer.

Generally speaking not too shabby for an international order and it actually beat the Ainsty order I placed with Old Crow who are actually in the same country! Mind you since I ordered on Feb 15th and Jez admitted that he still hasn't posted the order yet, I don't think I'll be using THEM again!!! Costs notwithstanding I have a feeling that I WILL be back for more from DF. Thanks Guys!

I have a question. I am new here and come from germany. Right now i learn that the only chance to get some new DF-Stuff is to order it directly with a lot of shipping costs.
Right now i decided to order a lot of DF-Stuff. Did i have to pay in germany any fees when my order arrives? Thats for me the final question to order and i do not want to pay any tax fee, because the shipping costs are high enough.
Sorry for my bad grammar, i hope you understand what i mean....

Cheers.
Markus :-)

Sorry guys, but in German its more easy to clarify about german customs.

Greetings
Tobias

Okay, I'm going way off topic, but I have access to someone who speaks fluent German, and I'm going to take advantage of this opportunity!

What does "Blucher" mean, if anything?

If you haven't seen it, the movie "Young Frankenstien" features a character named "Frau Blucher", and every time anyone says her name you hear horses whinny. This has led to a couple of theories that the word "blucher" means "glue", or "to startle, as a horse", but I haven't found the word in any German-English dictionary. I did find a Prussian general who was trampled by a horse, then recovered in time to get his men to the Battle of Waterloo, but that's it. Any thoughts?

Thanks, and sorry again to go off topic like this.

it's "Blücher" in german (don't know if you can see the point above the u)

There is only one phrase we have "rangehen wie Blücher"
which means "to go boldly forward" (both for valor or flirting)

it results from Marschal Blücher a prussian Officer, who was renokwon for
his boldness they named him "Marschall Vorwärts" (Marshal forward)
think he is the one you mentioned.

Danke schon. I can finally put that to rest.

(I know where to put the umlauts, I just don't know how to get my keyboard to make them.)

you're welcome.

for umlauts ist simple if you want to have them,
simply put an "e" following the letter:

i.e. write "Bluecher" or "danke schoen" then its correct.
