Jeff,

when can international customers expect their preordered Den of Evil Wicked Additions Sets?

I didnĀ“t receive a tracking mail so far.

Thanks,
Thomas

I have been told by the warehouse that a majority of the international orders will go out by Monday (18th). We will be emailing out the tracking numbers on Tuesday morning. After that, it should be 3-5 days before you receive your package unless your customs service holds it for some reason.

Thank you for your patience.

Out of curiosity, what happens if the place of delivery for the items is closed? I get my stuff delivered to my work address as there is usually someone there to pick up, as opposed to home where I am never present during work hours. However, given the timeline suggested above, if the warehouse is going out Monday, US time......which is probably MOnday night ours, and it takes about 3 -5 days, it might barely arrive before xmas. If so, that's great, but if not, work is shut down between xmas and the new year.

i'm hoping the courier service has the same shut down hours as we do :)

I don't think DF is the right adress to ask such questions as they can't know the practices of courier services in other countries. Instead you should ask your courier service, how they are managing their services over holidays.

Most of the services that are delivering in Germany try to deliver once and when they see a "closed for holidays-notice" at the door, they stop delivering until the day after the closed period Then they deliver everything at the first one or two days after that.

Wolfzell,

Point noted. Guess in my eagerness to grab the stuff, my post may have come out the wrong way :)

Anyway, finally got my tracking number via email a couple of days ago. Looks like the item should be delivered by the 20th......so, hopefully by the time work knocks off, it should arrive. Only problem is , I won't be home to check it out. Flying off to be with the extended family for xmas :) Oh well, gotta wait I guess :)

No offense intended. I just wanted to help.

My sets arrived at the custom office on monday. Picked them up yesterday on tuesday. Only had a short glance at the pieces there. Will be unpacking them at the weekend.

bye

Just got mine today. Didn't manage to get them before xmas, and with work closed down for the duration, the courier had no where to deliver them :) Looks like I will have fun this weekend opening up my packages. A preliminary glance makes me want to unpack them right this moment, but I don't think that would be all that professional at work :)

Lupus,

No, tearing open the box and drooling would not ber a good thing at work; the boss might get jealous!

Hahaha,
Jim, tis not the boss I am worried about :) After all, I'm the one in charge of that branch office :)

Tis the clients that might not take kindly to that kind of behaviour :)

Lupus;

SOMEhow, that scares me more than the idea of 'the boss will not be amused!'

See ya!

Hi Lupus, Jim

Just got my two sets of DOE as well. They went on a detour as they first went to a colleague of mine in the US instead of a friend.

And - for the first time I did win in the customs lottery. Having it shipped by slower means and in the middle of the Christmas rush seems to have allowed the package to be ignored. No - the customs declaration was okay. Just got lucky.

My son did a small dungeon yesterday - was too tired to post it - will do so tonight (oops - does this mean if I sit in front of the PC that I don't restart Jim's project ... [tease, tease])

Thod,
Out of curiosity, how does the UK customs look at parcels? Is there a financial limit before customs will open a package? Is it size based? From what I have seen in Aus, the limit appears to be around $ 500 local currency. Anything after that gets open and duty charged. I have been careful to keep my orders below that.

Is the situation the same in other countries? :)

Jim,
Hehehehe that's the fun of being in charge. You can be a scarey or crazy as you can get away with. .............also means I can 'borrow' stuff from the lab to take home.....not a bad set up. Only problem is the buck stops HERE when things hit the fan :)
