What can we expect to be restocked? 8 Years ago
Hey...

I'm just now, after years of playing with my friends stuff, getting into these wonderful dungeon/cavern products.

However, I am conflicted about where to spend my $$$.

I'd like to give it all to Jeff & Stefan here at DF, and I'm even willing to wait on itmes that are currently out of stock, but I'd like to know what I can reasonably expect DF to have back in stock within the next 6 months.

Will you ever get more Ogres Dens?

Will there be all the many cavern pieces available for individual purchase?

More 6" dungeon walls?

Thanks in advance!

Well, I can't speak for DF of course, but I'd say you could probably expect at least 60-70% of what you'd like to see restocked in a 6 month timeframe. Things are slow, but they aren't usually THAT slow. Plus, recently DF has gotten much better at keeping things flowing...

I belive that the Ogre's Den is no longer being manufactured. Maybe OOP? Does anyone know? Actually that was the first set that I got, and it was what first attracted me to DF. It is my favorite set/part.

I know a lot of people felt the Ogre's Den was a poor choice for DF... but like you, I was attracted to it, and like mine!

In November we are getting in a limited supply of Cavernous Lake Open Water pieces and Cavernous Lake Straight Bank pieces. We are also receiving a 5-pack of the 2" x 2" Medieval Building Set floors.

In December we are receiving some re-stocks of sets that we are low on -- as well as more Cavernous Lake Sets which we are currently out of stock.

The only individual pieces we have coming in the December are 4" x 6" floors. I wish we could get in more individual pieces, but there are complicated manufacturing reasons why it is difficult. We HOPE to restock more individual pieces in April of 2007.

Yes, I liked how the OD set came with two different style doors, and a tresure (which I think is only available with the OD). I am sorry, but I do not like the colorful packaging of the ex.(Fantasy Floor set, or the Fantasy Starter set). Sorry, please don't hit me Jeff and Stefan! *hiding* I guess I am just into the "classic" look of DF sets, with the white boxes and a simple label. I think when people see those white "heavy" boxes at their LGS, it just makes people curious to the contents of the box. I think that those people are thinking: "What kind of hardcore gaming terrain is this??" Or, at least, that was what got me hooked on DF. Furthermore, once I opened up my OD, and picked up the piece, and felt the weight of it, and examined the details......it was all over for me. :) THANK YOU DF!!!!!!!!! YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!!!!!!!!!

The Ogre Den will probably never be produced again. The minimums are just too high to do it. There are other older sets we would do first -- like the Narrow Passage Set.

The flashy look was done to please the demands of store owners....we don't have to do that any more...so we have gone back to the white no thrills boxes...I like em better too:)

PS
In case you are unaware, we no longer sell to stores (in the USA) although some still have stuff in stock. Direct route has been life saving for us...

I hope it will be based upon the number of associated sets already purchased -if at all possible.
