I took the plung a few months ago into DF, and being a "collecting nut" went all out to find a lot of the old sets that are no longer in production. And before anyone laughs, I recently purchased an Ogre's Den on eBay -- Problem the guy who shipped the DF lot to me, did a terrible job packing and one of the wall sections near where the portoculis is suppose to be broke off :(

Anyone have any suggestions at all for how to repair this or am I just totally out of luck?

Well, I'm not sure how bad the damage is, but certainly zap-a-gap, i.e. crazy glue, works wonders. I have had one broken incident in 6 years -- I dropped a cavern piece, and a tiny stalagmite broke off. I glued it back, and I can't even tell which one it was anymore.

If something is broken to the point where it is pulverized, and there's a visible gap even when everything is glued back, you may need to use some green stuff, available at most good hobby places, to sculpt a small solution and then paint it. Should be pretty basic, but if you don't have ANY experience painting etc. you might find it a bit labor intensive.

Still, no reason to think this is unfixable. Worst comes to worst, go to your friendly local gaming store and see if anyone there can help you, i.e. do it for you. ;)

Just find all of the bits and use some super glue, i have broken two items and repaired them with super glue and they are very hard to tell they were broken.

Thanks everyone, once the pieces are put back together again I can't see the crack. I just wasn't sure if super glue would work or not.

I have to say, after reading all the posts and seeing all of the different sets, I'm hooked on this stuff.
