As I eagerly count down the days and hours until March 15th, 2006, I have a few questions which I hope the DF staff can answer:

1) Is there any particular time of day (and time zone) that the web pages will be updated with the new products and/or all updates?
I know this may be geeky, anal, or just plain desparate, but since I'm up all night...if the new products will be available at 00:00:01, I'd like to know so I can start buying then. :)
I think we'll understand if you cannot specify a time, but I had to ask as I don't want to check the web site every 10 minutes all night long starting at midnight. I'd be a mess by the time the products were actually available on-line. :)

2) Concerning items to be in stock in June: If on a single order we order products that are both in-stock and to be in-stock in June, will DF ship the items that are in stock as soon as possible, or will DF wait and ship everything together in June? Hoping to find out if I should break my wish list into two oders, those products that are in-stock and those products that are to be in-stock in June.

Thanks for any information you can provide,

John

John,

IIRC, Jeff posted a notice way back in one of the forums that said orders that are placed together will ship together, unless requested split. I don't remember WHERE the split request was to come in, but I KNOW that Jeff or Lori or SOMEONE will clarify that shortly, you having posted your question.

See ya!

Good questions. We are going to send out an info-packed Newsletter on the morning of March 15th, and then we are going to open pre-orders at noon Central Time. I am a dumb American so I don't have any idea what that is in GMT.

Please break your wishlist in two, as we now have the policy of holding any order until all pre-ordered items are in. The shipping was killing us.

Thanks.

Ah yes but as dumb americans can cheat like crazy to make it look like we know what we are doing... and fake like we know what we are talking about.
why learn these things when you can look it up on the internet, or in a refernce book...?

If you set your profile up it tells you how far off from GMT you are, (opeing another window and nipping into my profile says EST is -5 hrs...) guesing you are in CST since that is when you would do it, would put that at -oo6 hours from GMT. ;)

Of course, since you have announced that the newsletter will be released in the morning, all of us will be getting up and expecting to see it in "our" morning times. Maybe you should simply establish a Dwarven Forge Mean Time... Then again you have, DFMT morning starts when you send the newsletter out. Looking forward to the glory.

Day 0!

Now watch the e-mail arrive after I've gone to bed. I work nights and sleep during the day. My wife told me yesterday that I have a dentist appointment today at 1 EST (noon CST). I actually tried to move my appointment so I could order at 1PM. :) I don't know how closely DF and the Factory or Shipping will track the orders as they come in to the Certificate #s in the boxes, but I was hoping to get a low numbered set just for the heck of it. :) I'm also just eager to see what all is available and what the surprises are. :) I also wish I could pre-order for the Cavernous Lakes at the same time.

Well, it's only 12 hours away. Have fun purchasing.

The day is here! The time is now!

Well, ok, the time is later, but the day is still here! The store is down, which scares me a little since the message says it's moving to another server. I'm hoping that the message is old and that they're just adding the new set in behind the scenes.

Incidentally, since the store is down, can anyone tell me what the Cavern Set retails for? I seem to remember it was around $120, but I don't know for sure (this is Cavern I'm asking about, not Cavernous River, BTW.)

Cavern set was between 110 and 119 methinks, but its been a while since I purchased mine.
