And Stefan...the lack of sleep thing is true... and we have been blessed with a very content and non colicky (sp?) baby (4 months old) and sleep is still lacking. But that first month was... it was like college all over again, except without my youthful constitution! The word I used to describe the first month was embattled.
Lucky you. My son, who is now 5 1/2 months old, was colicky, and he's just now getting over it. Talk about sleepless nights. There were times I wanted to throw up the tent in the back yard, but realized he probably screamed loud enough to keep me up out there too. I sincerely hope Jeff and Lori don't have to go through that whole ordeal. As for all of the gamer babies... You all need one of these.

Stairs will be re-stocked in the container that brings the River Sets around May
I noticed that there was no ETA (ie June 1st) posted for the Upper and Lower Stair pieces.

Hopefully, they haven't been deferred and will still arrive in the same shipment as the Cavernous River set -or shortly thereafter.

Could this be confirmed? It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again.

Yes, they will come in the 40ft container with the Cavernous River Pieces at the end of May...

Thanks Stefan,

for confirming the re-stocking of the Stairs.

With all of the new DF pieces and other recent innovations -(risers) that support the creation of multi-level dungeons I find that I am in great need of these.

I'll be ordering 15-20 sets of these when they arrive, so you can tell how glad I am to know they'll be re-stocked.

Thanks again.

Risers? What risers? Is this something I should know about before I start churning out lots of my own custom pieces?

Phil,

If you check the Photos section, find the one from me titled Riser results (or something like that) and you'll see.
It's an idea that was created by Invincible Overlord for doing multi-level dungeons, etc., using clear Lucite (acrylite, plexiglass, etc.) sheet and rod stock to create levels.
I took it and added clear plexi collars to slide the legs into; that made the whole thing more portable, and allows for different height between levels, by using shorter or longer rod sections.
Nothing strictly tied t oDF, it's just that DF inspired IO, he inspired me, and now, we have a whole bunch of gamers here that are either doing them, or thinking seriously of building themselves a set.
Jeff and Stefan have both waxed enthusiastic about them, having seen what IO and his crew of Mad Floridians have done with them. They also liked the idea of removable legs that I came up with, because for those of us who drag their DF to conventions, it allows us to drag the risers as well.
Call me a Motie Engineer; I'll take someone else's idea and elaborate on it, try to improve it IF I think there's any room to improve, and let everyone else know what I did, so they can copy it and improve on MY improvements!

See ya!

Oh, those risers! I thought it was some new DF product that I'd missed hearing about. 'Those' risers are well cool. I can't see me needing or using them, but I can appreciate the idea.
