By posting on this forum all Dwarvenforge.com members and guests agree to abide by the following Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct is subject to revision at any time, and it is the responsibility of the user to be familiar with its contents. This Code of Conduct applies equally to open forums, personal messages, and emails between community members. POSTING GUIDELINES Forum members are guests of Dwarven Forge LLC., and are expected to conduct themselves accordingly. This means treating board members, guests and Dwarven Forge staff with respect and politeness AT ALL TIMES. Criticism of ideas, layouts and Dwarven Forge products should be constructive in nature, and, when it is given, it should be with a respectful tone that encourages discussion. Postings should be appropriate to the area in which they are being posted. If a thread is posted in an incorrect or inappropriate area, that post may be moved or deleted. PROHIBITED BEHAVIORS Prohibited forum and Private Messaging behaviors include: Profanity, vulgarity, or explicit content, including but not limited to: Profane or explicit language Use of alternative characters and spellings (including leet-speak) with the purpose of producing an offensive result Posting of explicit or pornographic images Hate speech, including racial, ethnic, sexist, homophobic or religious slurs. Promotion of or engagement in illegal activities of any kind Harassment or “flaming of another specific person or group, including personal attacks and name-calling Trolling (posting of comments for the purpose of provoking a negative response from the Dwarven Forge community.) Spamming through repeated posts, or off-topic content Commercial postings (postings that link to commercial sites for the express purpose of advertising, especially for products and services not related to Dwarven Forge or the gaming industry as a whole.) Impersonation of another board member, site staff or Dwarven Forge employee by either screen name or self-representation (e.g. faking a screen name by using similar-looking characters or claiming to hold an official title or position relating to the site) Remember that you are all guests of Dwarven Forge, and should behave accordingly. In addition to the above, Dwarven Forge LLC., reserves the right, but does not assume the responsibility, to restrict communication which Dwarven Forge LLC. deems to be harmful to individual guests, damaging to the Dwarven Forge Community, or in violation of Dwarven Forge LLC.'s or any third-party rights. DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES Any violation the above Code of Conduct will result in a warning from the moderator. If warnings do not produce a change in behavior on the part of the individual in question, that individual will have his/her screen name taken away. At that point, the user will be able to re-register under a different name, but if the offending behavior continues, that user will be banned permanently. In extreme cases (including users who sign up for the sole purpose of spamming the community,) the moderator reserves the right to remove the offending user without warning.)
