Lighting:

This sounds really cool. Hopefully you can post a picture so we can all get a better idea of what this looks like.

I'm getting kinda scared..................

That business with a green lite dungeon for undead sounded creepy!!!.

I don't know if my players would go for this kinda thing.....

I'd really like some ideas on making a very small light that only casts light out about 4 inches before fading. Something small enough to place inside my DF without getting in the way, maybe powered by a AA or AAA battery. :)

"Killing is wrong. And bad.
There should be a new, stronger word for killing.
Like badwrong, or badong. Yes, killing is badong.
From this moment, I will stand for the opposite of killing, gnodab."

Tomgar,

One of those tiny "Mag-light" mini flashlights might work. They are very small with a good beam. Sombody eairlier used little candles..

The biggest problem with using a small mag lite is the rest of your table might be pretty dark. If each player had a small light source near them so they can at least read and see their rolls it would probably be pretty cool. We tried the candle idea. Most the players were annoyed at the lack of actual room light. A candle being a non focused type of light source tends to need to be in the actual dungeon. This caused a problem for us and we never used it again.

We play on Tuesdays so Ill see if I can snap a few pics tommorow.

I am not much of a photographer, but I will try. I am not sure how well my digital camera will work shooting colored lighting. I will defintiley give it a shot though.

Yea the creepy feel in the dungeons is not only by the lighitng, but also the sounds. My DM uses a laptop and lots of sound files from vidoeo games. It is pretty sweet when you are dungeon crawling with creepy lighting, music and all of a sudden you here a woman scream out of no where.

If you really want your players to scream....

Just play "More then a Woman" by the bee Gees over and over......

Trust me it works. ;)

I used green lighting on my dungeon one time and the players loved it.

Funny How that Works... What Part of The Primitive Brain Needed to be Programmed for Remembering Disco Songs and Bad Show Tunes, But Did not Include Birthdays and Anniversaries? Neither Seem Particularly Survival Oriented, But Certainly the Later IS while the Former is Not... It's A Wacky Lil' World We Live in I Guess...
