I like the idea of a set of just doors, or maybe doors and special walls. For the doors, in addition to the all important massive double doors, it would be nice to have cell type doors with metal bars and solid metallic looking doors, as well as a scary looking door with bas relief dragons or skulls, etc.

Zoro,

Right on... And Some Portals too... You Know swirling energy inside of an Ornate frame or something? Which I Suppose you Could do with the great tapestry Idea Posted in the Decorations thread, but it would be kewl to have something that could stand freely and match the DF scale...

I unleashed a pretty mean trap combo on my players a while back:

It started with a long corridor (two or three 6" passage pieces). As the party entered one end, I dropped one of the falling blocks (mostly to divide the party, but the fear factor is now planted  ). Then, for the players who were now trapped inside the corridor (and survived the falling block), I informed them that they could hear more blocks in the ceiling along the corridor length, and they could see dust/dirt falling from above (implying that the secondary blocks were about to fall). Now, these other blocks did not exist; it was a ruse effect in the trap designed to panic characters into running at full speed down the length of the corridor so as to avoid the "falling blocks".

It worked perfectly. They ran headlong into the L-trap where a wall of spikes greeted them. Extra damage all around.

My next version of the trap will replace the L-trap with a Gelatinous Cube (nearly invisible, you know)...

Beetso,

Very Nice... I Like The Swinging Wall Closes off escape in one direction, and Opens the Rolling Rock and Ramp Trap at the same time... <EFG>...
