If y'all have not noticed, they have changed the links that come off of having message notification when you have posted on a thread.
Jeff and I spoke about that a bit and then Tom was able to change it for us all.

Hopefully, folks who want to go to DF's WEB page will have enough perseverance and intestinal fortitude to simply do a Google and get the current site.

Actually all of your Own Impatience with the Rest of Us Mortals Aside, Even when I Save the Forum Site for instance to a Book Mark, it still Throws Errors Up when I go to Retrieve it... Though the Main Site is Coming up Quicker...

No MLV, I am not impatient with you.
You are not whining; you are simply presenting a problem so impatience is not being aimed at you.

I am not sure what the problem you are facing is, but I do know that I am not having it.
My new bookmark works beautifully.
That is, upon reflection, my bookmark is for the WEB page and then I move to the DF forum from there if I am not referred to by a Reply Notification message that I have received via e-Mail from DF.
Maybe DF does not want you to directly bookmark the forum, eh?
Is this the problem you face?
Hope this idea helps.

As a gamer that remembers when Pong was state of the art in electronic entertainment (with two color options: Black and White), I thought the Beta version of the mapmaker was rather spiffy. Heck, if all you did was to add the pictures for the remaining sets, I'd be perfectly content.

I suppose it would be nice to have a product that allows for 3-D viewing, multiple lighting effects, and full placement of GM notes for traps, tricks, wandering monsters, and the like. But, that simple drag and click system works just fine.

Hey Kradlo,

Have you heard of the Campaign Cartographer software series?
If you are really looking for a way to do most of those features you mentioned for a map for the DM and so forth, then the CC software series might help you out.
Here is the link for everyone to check it out:
www.profantasy.com/
Those of you in Europe can just order directly from ProFantasy at not too great of S&H since they are in London.
Those of us Stateside can order it from "RPG Now" at:
www.rpgnow.com/default.php?
You can just download it after paying, or for safety's sake, have them burn it on a CD-ROM and post it to you.
I did that to get most of the series and I am looking to get the rest of it soon.
It even has CC modules for the SF gamer like me.
Hope this helps folks

Is there any discussion about redeveloping a "corel draw" system with your product. If a buyer of product could pump in his/her sets and try to design online from your site and you had the servers to handle it, you would get a ten fold increase in traffic and the investment would so be a complet hit. I strongly, STRONGLY recommend you do this. I would be on the site every day. It is very hard trying to design maps with my existing 15 sets of stuff.

Thank you for your response Jeff.
