Woodland set 2 Years, 8 Months ago
All this talk of the ice cavern set but what about the woodland set? What do people think of it?

Quick question as this is a limited edition set does it come with a certificate or not?

I got three of them for christmas and I absolutely love them. My only criticism is that they don't always line up the best. I'm pretty sure they came with a certificate.

The lining up seems to be a recent problem with the Wicked Additions 3 and now the Woodland sets. Anyone else have issues?

I do. Pieces are beautiful but there are notable gaps (worst then with classical sets) between many piece combinations.

No certificate in my three sets. Gorgeous pieces, but yeah, some don't align well with certain other pieces. This seems to be a result of the sculpt of the wall. Most walls have a rounded or slightly "tree shaped" rounding that prevents a seamless pairing between pieces. I will have to get a bit creative in my builds with this one to make those gaps look more natural.
I have to get another accessory set though. The one that came with th preorder isn't enough.

Ah thats good i was just checking as i didnt get any certificates in my sets either.
I love the colour and style of the set but have to agree that it doesnt line up very well, there are lots of gaps and this does spoil the look of the set when built.
The accessory set is great though my 8 year old girl thinks they look like they have been made by fairies, If they go missing i know to go look at the bottom of our garden where she says the fairies live.

Pusherman, my daughter thinks fairies live in our backyard by the pond. She leaves them M&Ms and wooden furniture she makes herself.

Hmm...

Is this a trend? A few more corroborating daughters and we might have to start investigating.

Hi,

Concerning the issue about gaps and uneven pieces, i have the same issue.

It's very annoying.

But the set looks amazing

I have just received 3 certificates of authenticity in the post for my woodland sets, apparently they were inadvertently left out.
Thankyou for getting them posted out to me they are much appreciated.
