Ok, great job! This is impressive.

The four way intersection is the most useful piece and changes the way we can make dungeons. We can now make 20x20 rooms, that wasn't possible without the advanced builder's set before now. The multiple uses of this intersection as room, "T" intersection, corner hallway etc. Very useful. I look forward to seeing some of these in the fantasy set.

The detail: exquisite and better covered in other posts. One note the way the sculpt is done on the sliding doors and the pillars it is very hard to tell that they move from the "inside" of the piece.

I love the hole in the wall piece. It makes a great entrance into the "tomb of the ancients".
When placed opposite the Blasted wall piece it looks like something burst through the wall and hit the other one.

Oh, and I was looking at these pieces for quite a while before I noticed the subtle 1 inch grid! Very nice. These are so useful to gaming.

Heh, that's makes me think of the fact that I didn't notice until I started painting mine that the central square of the intersection piece is identical to the regular floor pieces. Maybe not in terms of which tiles are worn away, chipped, etc., but in terms of general placement and design of tiles. The little "sunburst" pattern is the same.

I am very impressed with the quality of the pieces, and the thought you've put into how to give them maximum flexibility.

Now, hurry up and produce the next set! ;)

I should have also mentioned that the sliding pieces work well as walls.

Yes, we designed them so they will stand up on their own -- and work as a wall in a pinch. They aren't all that stable, but ancient dungeons are known to be a little unstable.

Since Sandy still has the Christmas HO layout setup, I haven't set up a 'dungeon' yet (this stuff is a temple anyway), but looking through it, I am PRAYING the RotA2 set comes out in time for Shore Leave in July, so I can take them there! The guys in the Game Room will go NUTS!
Jeff, Stefan; you guys have created a MASTERWORK! This set has literally SAVED gaming for me; I was almost days from selling out all my gaming stuff; now? Uh-uh! Keep your grubby little fingers OFF my Dwarven Forge! You can play with it at Shore Leave, I'll bring it to Farpoint, we can set up at my place - don't even THINK about getting any of it!
It's MINE!! All MINE!!!
But let's see how MUCH we can set up on a 4' x 8' table... :P

Having played around a bit with this stuff, I think the item I'm going to want most from one of the expansions is a set of railings, sort of similar in concept to what we got with the MBS expansion, but maybe more setting-appropriate in design. I just feel like balconies and gardens and all sorts of areas would look extremely cool set off with railings instead of doors or arches etc.

For some reason, I keep thinking of the Egyptian levels of the first Tomb Raider game when I look at this stuff -- I think that may have put the railings idea in my head...
