I have the Grendel Beds too. I never thought of hiding anything under them, but that is a good idea!

Thanks L, thanks Guys, Gals, for the positive reviews, you guys are all awesome:)

Yes, we re-did the beds just to make them high enough to be able to hide something under them...I thought that was important. Perhaps a book of some sort.......initially, the beds were smaller in scale as we were trying to be true to the 5' square floors...but they looked really small next to figures and next to many other things + you couldn't hide anything underneath since they were so low...I realized that one of the reasons they looked small and low was because of the base which is under every figure...and also the fact, as we all know that many figures are actually 28 or 30mm scale...anyway, hopefully, the large bed size doesn't disturb anyone too much, we felt it was a nice compromise. (Obviously, if all miniatures were actually true to scale and not exaggerated at all they would be quite bland. That is the same for life size sculpture actually. Truly great sculpture is very exaggerated...the figures of Michelangelo and Rodin are immensely exaggerated to great effect....ooops, don't get me started...) Sandra Garrity does wonderful miniatures, and she pointed out to me long ago that she intentionally makes her heads on the large size in order to give them more "personality"

I am also glad that the railings are well recieved, we did them over to make them thinner...and we pained over wether or not they would be stable enough without a brace. I finaly decided that it could use it, but if anyone didn't like it they could easily slice it off...it was going to be a rat actually, which would have been kool...but would have been very repetative I think...

The hatch- we redid the stairs but somehow, the texture of the top panel is a little severe I agree...oh well...perhaps we can fix it somewhere down the line...

Once again, thanks for the appreciation of the new items, hopefully some readers out there will read the positive reviews and join our "club" thus keeping us in business for the next batch...the next wave, the Tavern Set (or Inn) is really gonna round this out I think.

DOE-Room Set- This one was really risky and I'm glad you guys like it. I feel there's a lot more we can do with this line/theme...it's pretty exciting I think...perhaps this is just the beginning, or........ perhaps, it is something that was best left alone....mmmmmwwwaaaaaa, mmmwwaaaa!!!!

Good Gaming!!

Don't give up on using those blanket-on-straw pieces in your inn set-ups.

Silver buys you a bed in a room. Copper buys you space on the floor in a hallway, or even in the main room after they are no longer serving.

Stefan -- so glad you handled the railings like you did! The brace really is necessary, and if it were a rat, there'd be a lot less we could do with them. Especially people who bought like 3 MBE sets!
