Awesome, thanks for sharing. I wanted to participate but I knew I'd be beyond busy (crushing project, moving, etc.).

I see some of the painted minis I sent to Stefan, glad they got use in this game. :)

Excellent, thanks for sharing.
Those new pieces for the Catacombs set look very nice!

Also, I don't recognise one of the floor pieces in the caverns set layout. The one with the little pool? Is that a home made piece or a "to be released" piece I wonder?

Note that piece also has bowtie slots. I think it's either a prototype that didn't get to production, or a unique custom modification.

I'm just blown away by those Catacombs 2 pieces. I saw part of the pool piece in the other thread...but honestly I could not tell what it was and thought man I don't want that. But seeing the actual light-up piece, absolutely incredible. Exactly what I want.

Every piece looks great!

Sarcophagus! That was one lots of us mentioned for a 2nd set. I want that for Diablo style dungeons. Catacombs has always given me a Diablo vibe.

Skull Pool. Just killer and perfect for a boss-room.

Those creepy 4x4 floor mosaic tiles. They look like they have crucifixion engravings on them or angels with their wings ripped off with their arms above their heads like they are praying. Or they are both angel and demon depending on how you look it. Like yin/yang top is demon with wings bottom of each character is upside-down angel with wings ripped off praying.

The wall light-up piece looks like some kind of fountain.

Towards the top of the pic you see other new pieces. What looks like a 2x2 archway with statues and steps. Next to it is a very interesting 2x2 wall piece with part of the skeleton column carved into it.

Anyway, I've never liked sequel sets much. But this looks ridiculously good. I hope they toss in a few skull-piles as well. You can never have enough skull-piles.

there were some custom made pieces by Bombanat which I traded him for:) Yes, the Cavern Pool piece is Bombanat:) Inside the sarcophagus were magic items but the party was always too scared to open them! That was a first for me:) I had a mummy get up too but it was turned right away! So I didn't have time to put it on....some video of the game shall turn up much later me thinks.....I never ran a game 12 hrs long....epic:)

Everyone was so nice:)

Even though I wasn't there (this time), I'd like to add my voice to Richens' in commending Stefan for offering this pledge event, Shadox for optioning it, and the entire party and the DM for making it such a success. It sounds like it was the gaming event of the year!

did anyone notice how well the Resin pieces blended in with the Game Tiles? I think they went very well together:)

Stefan, will there be more skull-piles included in Catacombs2? I hope you throw in another 2 skull-piles per Catacombs2 set.

How many of the Skull fountains will be in each set?

I hope it is OK for me to reveal this but the fountain and wall piece.... have a secret... I am not saying what it is.... But there is a secret.

Stefan, Fellowship of the Forge,

The game was incredible, the experience memorable, but most of all it was fantastic to share it with so many good people. My son and I stayed up for hours later talking about the game, taking about mechanics, talking about DF, talking about some of the things we saw in the studio. It was as I had hoped it would be. My son was wide eyed ever the next day. He talked about all the type of characters he wants to play and even started rolling up a few characters a couple of days later when on our flight home. My son has asked if he could join the next journey to the forge. I responded, "Only time will tell"

Thank you Stefan, Thanks to the Fellowship of the Forge, Special thanks to Stefan's family, and a great big Thanks to all the DF fans for supporting such a great Artist.

The only secret I can think of, is that those two pieces have an extra switch or setting to change the color from the flames to something other like blue for magical. That would be incredible.

I just can't think of any other feature that both would share!
