So, Jeff and Stefan,

WHEN will the Beta Expansion ship???
I have a dealer here in Baltimore who is waiting for a legitimate excuse to take my pre-order, which he ethically can NOT do without something from you for him to order!
Please pleasepleasepleasePLEASE give Dan a good excuse to take my hard-earned cash (beside what's already out there).

I've lost count of how much MM I own, except to say that I can't fit all of it in my Vibe and my Impala, combined! Four stacks, 48" tall, plus add-ons in three drawers of a chest, PLUS the new Fantasy floors, PLUS a new Fantasy starter (and I want the doors, individual pieces!), PLUS 4 each of Sci-Fi Starter and Passages, PLUS 2 Alphas! 8)
Does that give me voting stock, or am I just a big fan? :)

How much longer for these... (I guessing it'll be a little longer before I can get the curves in the UK anyway!)
I'm really looking forward to this...

Actually in a totally random thing i think i found the date for the next set...

For some reason i started getting in the Mail, Games Quarterly, and i was bored today so i was reading it, and on page 51, in an article by Jeff Broemmel, New Dwarven Forge Sc-Fi Set Comming this spring...

He talks about the new set, with Curved passageway, Forcefield door, 6 inch Sraigth Passage way, Computer panel, Curved piece, abd Port Hole Passage.
"the guys at Dwarven Forge said this set will be out in May."

Good find Ghenghis. The forcefield door sounds especially good!

I'm really looking forward to this one as well... I Think that the Force Field fitting the existing Door Frames is a really good Idea...

If you want to see that article, here is the link to that section of the issue at GQM's WEB page:
www.gamesquarterly.net/issue004/GQM4_49to56.pdf

The put most issues on their site that you can download to your own machine.
Makes more sense than paying $17/year for a hard copy.

The date has always been May for Beta.
In the thread - Photo of new Sci-Fi Pieces - it says Spring '05.
In the thread - Cool Star Wars/Sci-Fi Set Photos Featuring Prototype Pieces - it has the photo that GQM uses but without the PIP ads.
I also read somewhere else on the WEB page I cannot find this instant that said the release was Late May '05. Sorry.

I was just hoping Beta would come out sooner so that Gamma would even be sooner.

Found it - The DF November Newsletter
It actually says Late Spring so here's hoping the guy @ GQM is right about May.

Just got a raise and and found what to spend it on all in the same week. I am a Happy Camper indeed.

Legions of Steel is even more fun with these sets and the Fantasy Caverns make for an excellent Caverns of Mercury set for Warzone. Looking forward to the Beta expansons. :D

You Know I Loved the Tiles and the Miniatures for LOS, I Sure hate that Global went Under... I Met those Guys at Dragon the Year LOS came out, and Kept in Touch with them for a Couple of Years... I Had High Hopes for the Company... Though I Never Played anything other than Legions, And I still use their Map tiles to this day!

The Beta expansion set has been delayed until at least the Fall of 2005. Sorry...but we were not able to place an order as soon as we wanted...there are many reasons. I will have an official announcement as soon as I know something.
