Scratch off another 3 Gamma sets... plus several sets I was still missing from the last waves. The Gamma set somehow broke my resistance.

If I was Jeff or Stefan, I guess I would be sitting at my PC at home tonight, logged in to the bank account, watching the money roll in and sometimes just laugh hysterically...

bye

Oh Dead on a Totally side note, how are the AT-43 figures size wise comapired to SW/DDM. I think they Eyeball out to a bit bigger, but if they were rebased to a DDM/SWM style base how would they compaire?
Psst.....I replied to your question in the "cool photos" section, so as not to disturb/hijack this thread topic.

Minus 2 Gammas, thanks to me - and another Cavernous Chasms (yeah, I finally broke down and bought one of them, too!).

Stefan, you are really going to get ALL my cash, eventually, aren't you? Oh well, fine arts IS a worthy investment. Even if it ISN'T tax deductible!

See ya!

I'm delighted to see the Gamma set finally arrive. I will do my best to help sell out the set; I'll buy 2-3 -- still deciding.

This set fills out several "room types" that come up a lot in set-ups (at least mine): crew quarters, main bridge, science/engineering, sick bay, security station/check points. Only thing I don't like is the quantity of suspended animation beds -- 4-8 is plenty. If I buy 3 sets I think there will be more than is really necessary. You can never have too many railings, computer consoles, and chairs though!

If I can plead for that last set of Sci-Fi, the biggest things I REALLY want are items for a bar/cantina and for warehouse/loading dock/spaceport areas. The Gamma set doesn't really address that too well (ie I'd like a bar, tables, galactic colored drinks; and crates, fuel barrels, oxygen tanks, robotic gizmos, maybe even some generic blasters/rifles). I use the MBS bar set and the sacks and crates accessory set as a stand-ins for Sci-Fi and they actually work with a little imagination, but real Sci-Fi accessories would be terrific.

Anyway, sorry for the wistful requests. I am very happy with the Gamma set; it just makes me want more!

Thank you Purplesaber,

Suggestions are always welcomed! I will need to include a few more accessories IF we do another set so now is the time to ask!

Let me chime in and say that the cantina suggestion is brilliant.

I would love an accessory set that allowed me to make my very own Mos Eisley-esque cantina. Cafe snugs where seedy merchants negotiate smuggling contracts and duck 'Imperial entanglements'. Bars covered with neon-colored drinks and strange hookah-like implements for more exotic species where the local scum and villiany can threaten our heroes. Throw in a serving droid and its perfect!

That is uncovered ground in sci-fi accessories today.

Waitaminnit! I think I've noticed something else about ABS2 -- and if I'm right, how did I miss it this long? Have people been talking about it, and I'm so obtuse I just didn't pick up on this...?

It looks like ABS2 includes passage elements that have spaces for doors in them! I swear, it looks like there's a corner passage piece with door spaces, and THAT's where the removable walls go. So you could use it as a regular passage, but you could ALSO open up a room directly from it with narrow doors. Hmmm... that'd be interesting....

Ghenghis, I'm SO excited for you because of the soon to be released Sci-Fi stuff!

I'm not sure how many years it's been on this forum where you were always there in the back-seat saying: "are we there yet?"

...well I guess you will be arriving very soon now! :)

As for the rest of us non-sci-fi collectors, here's the battle cry now:

"BRING ON THE ANCIENTS, BABY!"

Man, I can't wait to see that set!

Yes... I believe that this was confirmed as being part of the fleability of the new corridor pieces in the set. Also, the reason, again if I understood correctly, why Stefan included more than one type of narrow door in the set... Course I could have misunderstood, but that is what it looked lie to me as well.

maj!

Post Script - Scratch another Gamma set from the remaining total... Does that bring us down to 284?

I was only able to order one this week, but am hoping to add another in a couple of weeks--assuming there are more available at that point! *Woot*...
