Because of many requests from collectors who get paid on the 1st of the month, we have extended the deadline to pre-order the new Cavernous Lake Expansion Set and the Tavern Accessories Set until the end of Friday, Sept. 7th.

Thank you for the great response, and we won’t end any more pre-order periods on the 1st of a month.

Jeff

Thanks a lot. This is really helpful for some. Also the first time I did stall my own orders until 'last minute'. Well - the last minute seems to have moved but my orders are in now.

German and/or UK collectors
I ordered 3 sets each Lake extension and Tavern Acessories to take advantage of the special deal. As I intend to keep two each I will have 1 spare for someone wanting only a single set. As shipping is proportional cheaper ordering more and as I get lots of extra goodies I should be able to make a decent deal for someone who otherwise won't be willing to get his set.

I should be at the Spielertage in Essen and ideally could exchange the sets there for Euros. If you are interested, drop me a line.

Sure, sure, it ends the day before I check the forum. ;)

Just teasing. I'm really tapped for money - it must be all those tokens. ;) I really wish I had been able to set aside some money for the new producs. They seem wonderful. I've been told I may get one of each for my birthday or Christmas, but who wants just one?! Especially when a pre-order of three could net you $150 worth of open water tiles. Yes, I know the new price is $100 for a 10 pack (or $99), but I still think of them as worth the $150. I told my wife I could buy three sets, get the freebies, and sell two sets on ebay for cost - most DF sets sell on ebay for close to their original price, especially if they are on ebay near when the sets first come out (odd). I told her I could get enough money back out of selling two sets that I'd still come out ahead. ....but I didn't do this. Oh well!

Here's looking forward to having the new sets in hand some day.

They probably go for near the original price because shipping would still be cheaper....I found a way as suggested by another...just had to check with my mother in law if she would ship it.

Shipping to her house is quoted as $20 and to me it is quoted as $85 for a certain amount of product. I then can have it shipped Parcel Post for around $20 or so.

Only problem with this method is.....wife knows exactly what I am ordering. :O

You mean, you actually get to keep secrets from your wife??

How you do dat, mon?
Care to share the secret with us, here? :P :P

Just kidding, of course. Hey, why bother; she's going to find out anyway, when you get it - UNLESS you're getting it for HER - in which case, ENLIST her Mom's HELP!
Mommy will LOVE helping you give her little girl a GIFT.
C'mon, man, how long have you been married to this lady? Haven't you figured out how to get your Mom-in-law on YOUR side YET??
Do you LIKE living in the dog-house??

See ya!
