I might have missed it - but I'm pretty amazed I haven't seen anyone mentioning this yet. Especially with all the discussion of the advertisement in the August Dragon issue.

Knights of the Dinner Table (the July 06 issue) contains a 2 page review of the (at the time when it was written) not yet publised MBS set. David Kenzer must was around the DF booth at Origins 06 and must have talked to Jeff until he spilled the beans and made the article possible. The article starts how David how David rounded the booth several time and not getting any information about the secret set - just finding an empty box when opened when nobody looked.

It ends with: Stefan later spilled the beans on a future expansion that should include stairs, second floors, fireplaces, pillars and other items to make even more exiting layouts. What's more, these town pieces fit together with your old Master Maze sets. I'm looking forward to combine mine with a nice wine cellar/hidden dungeon entrance. Yet another drool-worthy assecory.

There are also a total of 7 unfortunately black and white photographs of set=ups (unfortutanetly with not much furnishing but including one three storey build up with classic MM as the foundation.

If I have to find a hair in the soup - the article seems to suggest that this is the only new set this year - hey David - rivers are new as well and lakes haven't been out at origins. But he can be forgiven for an otherwise pretty good article and free advertisement.

When did the 'July' issue of Kodt hit the shelves?? Sorry - my Kodt takes anywhere between 1 week to 4 weeks delivery - once a newer issue overtook an older one - so while it says July on the cover it might have been August when it came out. I was on holiday July 28.th to August 11.st so even this adds a further error marging when it was available.

But there was a chance this was another leak where you could have known ahead of time.

Well - now you know at least afterwards.
